"Light....Light....can you here me....Light?"
"Huh? Y-yes...yes i can... but who are you?
Its kind of weird. The last thing i remembered is losing consciousness, now all i am seeing is darkness. How can i hear...this voice.
"Oh yeah sorry i should have started with that. I am one of the gods, and i believe we have met before you fell into this world."
"Oh... i remember your voice now, your that bright dude. I messed up big time huh?"
I should have not been reckless but again, she was about to push me straight into hell literally. I guess i should have just left her do it.
"Listen...the ability Mitsune gave you makes it possible for me to communicate with you. Its mainly used by gods to reach each other but i thought it might be quite useful to you. I was supposed to give it to you before you....yeah."
"Oh so that was the ability you were gonna give me...thought it would be something cooler like teleportation or fire or something"
"I understand but pls just listen carefully to me now. You need to reach the island of the elemental statues, which will be where to will gain a power to aid you in your journey of becoming a vessel. Seems like there is no choice now, you have to become a vessel."
Island of the elemental statues huh? Like hell i would know how or where to get there, but at least a would receive a 'power' as he says to become a so called vessel. Still don't know what's the purpose of that though.
"Oh and finding a way to get there is up to you....wake up now"
"W-wait what?!"
The voice echoes away as i slowly open my eyes, my vision becoming clearer as i come face to face with Kitsune, her face too close to mine as she rests on her head on my chest.
"Oh your awake. You were talking in your sleep."
She says as i moved my hands around , feeling a itchy sensation, probably some grass...Wait grass? Where the hell am i.
" You talked to Mr Bright i suppose."
I hear Mitsune's voice as rested her body beside me.
"Umm...where are we? I thought we were in that strange man's house."
Mitsune immediately covers my mouth with her hand as she hears a recognizable mischievous laughter from afar.
"Shhh...we are in a bush...a surprisingly big one at that. As i expected the demon returned, probably for us."
Her voice above a whisper as she sighs, tapping her temple deep in thought. I have to....say something, what if it harms the island, no its ok they will eventually leave right?
"Well.. they will surely leave when they fail to find us right? G-good p-plan."
Kitsune gives me a stern glance, catching me off guard as some sweat drip from my face, eventually looking away.
"Umm guys?"
"Pls...be quiet."
Mitsune addresses me as i bite my lips. No way....

They were...just here..."
The winged creature from earlier flies around the island, eventually landing on one of the buildings. His feet suddenly catch fire, forcing him to land on the ground.
"D-damn it i forgot that these small buildings are demon proof. Well no matter... that's what this is for."
He says as he holds up the bear shaped syringe, approaching the beach as he looks around.
His grin widens as he spots a catfish, flying to it as he grabs it with a single swoop. With no hesitation he takes out the syringe, stabbing it in the fish as he pushes it down, the whole liquids going into the poor aquatic animal's body.
The fish shakes abnormally fast as he throws it on the ground. He whole fish slowly turns a mixture of red and black as it grotesquely grows a huge body.
The demon laughs maniacally as he claps his hands, intrigued by the scene. The fish approaches him as its disturbingly muscular body tightens.
"Daki sure knows her stuff, your with me fish. We find two gods, a kid and kill them...no mercy." The fish screams in agreement as its eyes darts towards the village.

Magma suddenly wakes up to a sudden sound next to his wife as he looks around, eventually deciding to get up, waking up her.
"Eh? Where are you going honey?"
"Don't worry about it...just going to have some water."
He gives her a warm smile as he leaves the room, heading towards he kitchen. After having some water he looks around, to his surprise finding Mitsune, Kitsune and Light not there.
"Guess they left...i wounder why?"
He looks at his daughter's door to her room as his gaze sterns. He decides to check up on her but upon opening the door, his eyes widen as he finds no trace of her daughter.

" Are you sure he is going to leave?"
I ask them as i couldn't get my mind off what would happen to the village. I want to believe that he would just easily leave but something tells that he wont until he find us.
"What does he want to do with..."
Suddenly screams could be heard from the direction of the village, my eyes widening to the sound.
"I am hearing things right? Kitsune? Mitsune?"
My voice breaks slightly as i ask them but they say nothing as Kitsune buries her face into my chest, covering her ears.
Mitsune looks at the scene, her eyes widen for a sec before looking away.
"I-its going to be ok."

Buildings shatter and lands break as the mutated fish creature punches through every thing it sees while the small number of civilians rush out of their houses.
The creature catches fire as it comes in contact with the buildings but doesn't phase as it regenerates the burns.
"Destroy everything until you find them." The winged demon demands while holding on a civilian by his head, struggling to break free from the menacing demon's grasp.
Out of of nowhere, in an instant the hand used to cling to the civilians gets impaled by flames, resulting in him letting go of him as a speck of yellow lightning takes the civilians away.
The demon rips its burning hand, throwing it as he grows a replacement in a few seconds.
" Damn it....i forgot about them."
Before he could comprehend what just happened a loud splash of water occurs as figure emerges from the sea, charging towards the demon at a remarkable speed.
The figure goes for a kick towards the demon's neck, its feet slowly covering in flames.
Unfortunately the demon dodges it as, grabbing the figure's foot as he slams it to the ground.
"So annoyi..."
Suddenly he feels an electric impact on her face, sending him into crashing in the wooden fishing bridge.
"Oops....should been more aware of my surrounding. Are you ok?"
The figures get to their feet as the light from the blood moon roam over them, revealing a female in a robe holding a katana as the other had lion ears with a tail, black lion spots covering her body.
"HE....HE TOOK MY FISH!"
The lion lady shouts as fire fumes from her body, but before she could approach the demon the female with the katana grabs her hand as she points at the fish monster terrorising the village.
"Your fish you say? Well you have to take care of that then. I'll deal with him.
Her eyes widen as she looks at scene, her tail turning straight as her teeth grin. She sets her hands on the ground as she moves back, the pose runners use to get ready to sprint, her feet instantly catching fire.
In an instant she dashes forward, disappearing from the scene leaving behind a trail of flames.
The demon grants as he gets off the broken parts of the bridge. He adjusts himself as he gets up, dusting some sand off himself.
"So we meet again the masked assassin of the fish village....Tsumi."
He says as he looks up at the sky, taking notice of the blood moon slowly descending as it gets ready to make room for the sun.
Tumi takes notice of him, forcing her to point her sharp katana at him.
"You do know that you can't defeat me right. That attack you inflicted on me sure caught me off guard. I would lie if i said it didn't sting though...but if that's the best you could do you should give up now."
" You don't decide that."
With that she dashes towards the demon at a speed greater than that of a blink. Her katana comes across the demon's face but with his speed he went for grabbing the katana.
Before the demon could grab her katana her body disappears into sparks of lightning. She circles the demon with the act of quick vanishes leaving lighting sparks around, making it difficult for her to be hit.
"So that's how you wanna play huh? Unfortunately i don't have time for that."
He raises her hands up, turning them into fists as he slams them down on the ground, creating a loud smoke of sand as it shakes. After some time wings flap as he ascends up into the air, escaping,
She stops as the smoke disappears, leaving him with rage as she finds him to be retreated.
"D-damn it....not again."
She falls to the ground, hitting it hard before taking a huge load of air and letting it out.
"N-no time for that...i should help her."

I can't keep hiding like this forever. Something feels wrong about this. The screams of fear...is death really that feared. I...i have to say something about this."
"Umm...i get this village doesn't concern us but i feel like we can't just do anything."
"So you wanna die eh? Well be my guest., do what you want."
Mitsune replies coldly to me, making me very sick of her attitude. What's the deal with her with me?
"W-whaat? Why would you say something like that? Are you not a goddess. In fact you should be the ones to deal with this situation"
"I..."
Mitsune's body slightly shivers as she fails to mutter a word, clearly overwhelmed by my statement. Well i didn't care...i know it's my fault they are here but that doesn't justify hiding out here like cowards.
I have to help somehow, even if it means putting my life in danger. Maybe i would now have a better reason of dying.
Mitsune and Kitsune glance at me in puzzlement as i get up, but Kitsune instantly clings to my leg tightly as i try to move out of the bush.
"Please...don't..."
Kitsune tries to stop me as her voice breaks a little, making me hesitate for a sec but decided to move on. I don't even know a single thing about me so why are they acting like this?
Upon getting out of the bush i sprint towards the direction of the fish village. This village doesn't deserve this.

Magma got out of the house at he looks around for his daughter, his eyes widen as he notices the mutated fish monster going in a mindless rampage.
His mind immediately moves on to finding her dear daughter before anything bad could happen to her.
The fish takes notice of him while grabbing hold of a villager, its hand tightening on the villager's head before crushing it and throwing the body away, some blood dripping from its hand.
Magma backs away slowly as his heart raises. He knew because of how it took away someone's life with no hesitation it won't waste time to go after him until....
A line of flame passes by his side as it pierces the monster's stomach, causing it to stumble back as the flame vanishes leaving a huge hole on it.
"Never have i guessed that i would go against one of my kind."
The lion beastkin approaches as she grins widely, punching her fists together forming a small spark. She blows the sparks away, sticking on the fish's body as the hole created on its stomach regenerates almost instantly.
"So you wanna play huh? Lets see how long that regeneration can last. How bout four blasts?
With that she snaps her fingers, setting off of the sparks, creating an explosion.
He snaps her fingers again, creating another explosion as she laughs maniacally. The monster's arms and legs un-attach from its body, causing it to fall to the ground,
"Oh no you don't!"
She says as she notices the fish gradually regenerating back its body parts. As she goes for another explosion, she suddenly goes still as steam fumes aggressively from her head
Her mouth opens widely as smoke escapes of it. The monster fully restores its body as its eyes move uncontrollably towards her.
"H-hey are you alright....hey!"
Magma tries to bring her back to reality but no response, the fish getting up as it roughly extends its arms towards them, grabbing both by their neck tightly.
Magma could feel the bones of his neck break as he struggles to breath, clenching its fist with his hands to try to break away to no success.
The lion beastkin's body becomes motionless as if dead inside, her mouth still open until some foot steps can be heard from afar as they become louder.
'stomp stomp stomp'
My momentum quickens as i rush through the path to the village. Some people rush past me in screams heading towards the bushes until my eyes widen as i come across abnormally muscular figure with...a fin?
As it turned to the side i couldn't believe what the hell i was looking at, this is no demon for sure. What was actually going on here?
A few meters away a trail of short lightning sparks are left behind, biting her teeth nervously as she sprints through heads of the buildings before launching herself to the sky with a jump.
The scene of the fish strangling its victims becoming clear to her as she takes out the katana, her hand tightening around the weapon, releasing a volt of lightning to it before aiming at it for a clean headshot.
The katana flings through the sky at a right angle at a rapid speed. Her eyes widen as the katana barely misses the fish, but the blade's lighting spark managed to come in contact with its skin.
The monster's body suddenly freezes as it lets go of its victims, their body falling to the ground with a thud.
'Woosh'
The katana goes past me, hitting the ground beside me as lightning still covers its body.
"PICK IT UP AND HIT IT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!"
I hear someone shout from afar as i glance at the weapon nervously. I would let this creature kill me or...die trying to kill it. Well....fuck me!
I sprint towards the katana, grabbing it as i feel a surge of lighting runs through my body. Damn....this fricking hurts like hell, but that what do i lose in feeling this pain continue?
I shakingly aim it at the fish, biting my bite as i try to keep my mind off the surreal pain i am feeling, as if i am being fried alive. Just use it like a spear.
" Here goes nothing!"
I use my whole strength to throw the spear at the fish. The katana flings at a speed almost similar to that of a bullet. The katana pierces through the fish's head, smashing into bits as it continues flying ahead.
I fall to the ground as my whole body gives up on itself. Damn it...i am alive... and at a cost too.
