Am....I dead? N-no I can't still move my hands, I don't know whether to be glad or disappointed about it. Ugh and what's with this bright light shining on my face, so annoying.
Even if I turn out to be alive, because of how I talked to Mitsune and Kitsune, I don't want to confront them. They should be happy for my passing as they would probably be sent back up to disturb another, who was unfortunate to have fallen like me.
They should just leave me here, for this burning light to eat my skin away little by little. At least that would serve as some sort of punishment.
"Is he ok? Poor kid...I am flattered he did but he is still a kid non the less?

"Well we can't leave him here like this. I'll take him to my house."
Who are these people disturbing me? There are more better things to do than pity me, I don't need pointless pity I need peace.
Some of the voices seem similar but I don't have the energy to guess who they might be related to.
Suddenly I feel some hands wrapping around my waist as it seems as if am being carried away by someone or something.
Ugh what are they doing now? Why can't I just...just...just. Why am I complaining about? It's best to just to let it happen as it seems like they care about me for some reason.
I feel a door open, then another one soon after. I feel my body pressed against a soft surface as the hands release from me. This feels so soft...nice even. Heh, Kitsune would like as it seems like she sure needs a nap with all the yawning she does.
Wait why am I thinking of her? Am I that pathetic? Guess I am, those are probably the only girls I have been close to literally.
"Light...can you hear me?
"Hmm? Oh its you...still not used to you talking in my mind.
"What you did back there was impressive. I knew you would be great as a vessel."
I sighed inside as i heard him. Atleast the people here are safe for now.
"Don't forget about the island of elemental statues...now open your eyes.
I slowly open my eyes, my vision clearing as i see two figures arguing.
"Where could she have gone to? What if she...i can't...i just can't Magma.
"Its ok, she is ok. She will c..."
"How do you know that after what happened?! I...i need some time alone.
The door slams shut followed by an audible sigh as steps become louder as they come towards me.
"Looks like your awake. If it wasn't for you...i wouldn't have...no we would have died. Thank you."

Suddenly the door slams open interrupting as two recognizable voices linger in.
"I somehow thought he would be here, and lucky to have survived that."
Mitsune says as she leans against a wall crossing her arms, darting her eyes me before closing them.
"Light, we are glad your..."
Kitsune says as she approaches me, reaching her arm but i turn my face away from her
"Don't...now you suddenly care about me now? You didn't even tend to accompany when i was up against that abomination."
Kitsune stopped and stepped back and looked down as the room fell silent.
After some time Mitsune opened her eyes and approached Magma, putting her hand on her shoulder.
"Can you please give us some space? Thanks for taking him in."
Magma nods as he went for the door, before stopping near it.
"That boy there desrves your thanks...not me"
With that he closes the door, leaving them alone.
"Light.."
"don't even..."
"CAN YOU JUST LISTEN FOR ME FOR A SEC! GOD..."
Mitsune shouts out before taking a deep breath and letting it out to calm herself.
"Listen...you don't really seem to know what you have done. We...we are gods in training..."
I turn my face to her as my eyes slightly widen. " Gods in training? What do you mean by that."
"It means...we are not...gods yet. We can't protect ourselves, can't survive this corrupted world on our own. We are practically nothing."
Mitsune's body shakes slightly as she takes another deep breath.
"We...we didn't do anything because we were scared Light, but that doesn't justify what we did back there. We should have been by your side. What you did back there was incredibly stupid but it saved the village and that's what matters."
My heart slightly ached as i heard her. All i thought about how i felt and didn't realize that they are human too. Its all my fault...again.
"I...iam sorry,"
Mitsune nodded slightly as she approached me.
"Same here but enough of that...can you move?
I try to move my body but fail to do so and shake my head in disagreement.
"I see...looks like that took a lot out of you huh?"
She says as she placed her hands on my chest and closed her eyes. She felt a slight shock on her hands as she let go of my chest before returning to it.
"I see... so that's it, no problem"
Her palms glow brightly before reverting to normal, letting go of my chest as she crossed her arms.
" Can you move now?"
I try moving my arms but this time they respondsmoothly. I stand up from the bed into sitting on it, moving my arms around.
"Wow, i can move my body now. How?'
"Heh, you don't need to know."
She says as she smirks looking away, some blood leaking from her nose. She immediately wipes it away before opening her eyes at me.
"Did you talk to Mr Bright?"
"Yes, oh and he told me to go to uh...the island of elemental statues?"
"Wait the island of...really? But he can't just...ok, it looks like we really have no choice. There is no time to waste...alright so how are we gonna get there?"
I scratch my temple as i think of a way. Well its obvious that we can't swim there ,even if we can i don't think they can even swim. We obviously need something like a...boat?
"How bout a boat? A boat big enough to carry all three of us there."
"WHERE IS HE!!!!"
Suddenly we hear an enraged voice from outside the room as heavy footsteps become louder until the door bursts open, revealing a girl with tiger ears and a tail. A cosplayer maybe?
"There you are! Why did kill my fish?!"
"Fish? Do you mean that abomination?"
Her tail straightens up as she rushed towards me, before grabbing me by the neck as she shakes me aggressively.
"S-sorry b-b-but i h-had to d-do it."
" Well then i have to do this!"
She says as he places her palm a few inches from my face, some fire imiting from it as it forms a ball of fire. I could feel the heat radiating from the ball, it felt warm, too warm.
Mitsune grabs the girl's hand as Kitsune clings to her other one tightening around my neck.
"Ok that's enough. We understand if what he defeated to bring peace to the village was related to you but what would happened if he hasn't come over.
Kitsune tried to address her and it seemed like it worked as her hand against my neck loosened but that got thrown out of the window immediately as she let go of me and instead grabbed hold of Kitsune by the neck.
Mistune let go of her and went for her sister but she immediately gets stopped by the cosplayer by pointing her ball of fire at her.
"Then you'll be the one's to pay for her."
She says as she smiles wickedly. I'll have to do something about this or she will blow this building up, and by her behaviour i doubt she will give a damn if she will actually do it.
"I...how about we fight then!"
The twins' eyes widen in puzzlement including the menacing girl.
"Oh...really?"
She says as she lets go of them, Kitsune falling to the ground as she catches her breath.
"Yeah, you see we are going to this island and i am going to get powers, then i will repay you by fighting you."
By her behaviour i could sense that she is someone who is into fights. She might also be useful in our journey.
To my luck she laughs mockingly as she points her finger at me.
" A fight? If you really think you can come against me in battle as a payment for what you did then i'll gladly accept."
She continues to laugh as she takes a seat beside me, putting her hand around my shoulder as she gaze me a death glance.
"I am not gonna hold back."
"Y-yeah."
I smile nervously at her as i try to shake her hand off but she grips me tighter. This girl is crazy, she is not like anyone i have back at....home.....home. I shake my head to get rid of the thought. No its not my...home anymore, what even is home?

As we head for the exit we hear Magma and her wife i assume talking to a white haired girl, her hair covering her eyes as she bowed at them. As her hair moved, revealing her eyes upon glancing at me her eyes widened as if she saw me somewhere, but i continue to move as i did not wanna get into their business.
As we head outside we come across a crowd of villagers swarmed us, catching us off guard.
"What do these people want with us, they your fans or something kid?"
The cosplayer said as she crossed her arms. Kid? I am practically sure i am not that far from her age.
One of the villages approach me, giving me a warm smile as she points towards the fishing bridge being constructed to its original state, containing some boats.
"Sorry but we overheard you and wanted to give you one of our boats as thanks for saving our lives. Right guys.
All of them bow as they spout the word 'thank you' in sync, making me blush a little out of embarrassment.
"Oh...y-your welcome."
A little kid gets passed the villagers to the front while holding a small rectangular box towards me.
" We made this for your journey, don't grow hungry at us ok!"
"Oh...h-how kind of you."
After some hours of readying ourselves they wave at us as we get on the boat given to us. I wave back at them as everyone settles in.
