Chapter 13 - Chapter 1-12: “Why Hospital?”

The sound of footsteps echoed through the hallway. A woman came to a stop in front of a room door. She wore a pink short-sleeved shirt and short pink pants. Her eyes were deep blue, and her skin was gray. She held several files in her hands, each a different color. She checked the room and saw a man standing inside. She called out to him.

"Dr. Can Dey Light. Is that you?"

Dr. Can Dey Light noticed someone was calling him. He blinked and finished fastening his buttons.

"Ah, wait. My bad."

He finished his buttons and looked at her. He wore a green shirt and long green pants under a white coat. Glasses sat on his face. Unlike Teacher An M, his glasses had only one lens, fitted for his one eye just like the others. The frame of the glasses looked like gold but with a hint of orange, likely made from a different type of ore. His eyes were yellow, and his skin was a soft yellow.

"What brings you here?"

The woman entered the room.

"It's just... the First Triangle kind patients are arriving at the hospital."

Dr. Can Dey Light touched his glass lens.

"They are...? They didn't send me a message to come here today. What are they planning?"

The woman shook her head slowly.

"Not all of them... just some patients and one girl."

Dr. Can Dey Light held his jaw, thinking.

"One girl? Not a woman...?"

He looked at her.

"Did she give her name? They rode to the hospital?"

The woman: "No..."

She looked down at her side.

 "It's just..."

Several minutes ago...

The woman was cleaning her hands outside the building. She used a green liquid to wash them. Suddenly, she heard a voice.

"Kek Wee Wee!"

A ball of air hit the ground and turned into a circular wind. Her clothes fluttered in the gust. A girl landed on the ground from the sky. The wind pushed her up slightly so she wouldn't take too much damage when she hit the earth. She fell onto her butt, screamed a little, and rubbed it.

"Eh!"

The woman looked behind her. She saw a girl wearing a long red and black coat. A black witch hat lay on the ground. The girl tried to stand up. She wore short black pants with pieces of white cloth covering her lap. Her eyes were pink and her skin was a pale white. She grabbed the hat and put it on immediately, searching for something.

The woman stood there, confused. Then, a long stick hit the woman's head. She felt dizzy from the impact. The stick lay on the ground; at the top, a purple mirror was set into the wood. The girl noticed the stick and grabbed it immediately. She bowed to the woman and ran back to where she had fallen. She pointed the stick at the sky and shout.

"Kee Hoe Ho Wee!"

The top of the stick parted, and the purple mirror began spinning. The air turned into clear, spinning cubes. A circular wind appeared, and tiny blue cubes manifested randomly. The woman covered her face with her hands as dust rose.

Then, people covered in wounds landed on the ground. The spinning air helped them land softly. They fell in a pile, one on top of the other. Most of them wore different long coats and hats: some red and white, some black and orange, some yellow and green, some soft blue, some black and red, some pink and black, some pure white, black, red, green, or orange. Their hats were all different too.

Some had deep wounds, some had scratches or cuts. Some had passed out. Some were missing legs or hands.

The girl sighed and looked at the woman. Even the woman was shocked by that stare. The girl walked toward her; for some reason, her walking style was cute, even though she looked like a pure kid. The woman stared, clueless. The girl took off her hat and looked inside.

"Oh... Sister Yu Yu. Let me borrow your contract. The other side manipulation—Ala Hell Dey!"

She took some files out of her hat and pushed them against the woman's chest. The woman was shocked and held them, not understanding. She looked at the files, then at the girl. The girl touched the files.

"They... they are our IDs. Green is for High Class, Yellow is for Low Class, Orange is for Middle Class. And... Red is for Half Class. Blue is for the Learning Class. My class... if you want to know, just check the names. I—I have to go. Sorry!"

Then she ran back to her people and spoke to a guy sitting on a big person who wear the purple long coat. He wore a black and green coat.

"Brother Eik Ley! Open the portal."

He looked dizzy. He looked at her and pointed his hand away.

"Ala Rey Dey!"

The air thickened, and a square white portal appeared. The girl bowed to Eik Ley and stepped toward the portal.

Eik Ley: "Me Toe Re. Don't do anything stupid."

Me Toe Re looked at him one last time before vanishing.

 "I will!"

The portal closed. The woman just stood there, watching it disappear.

In the present...

Dr. Can Dey Light was shocked.

"Me Toe Re!?"

The woman was surprised.

"You know that girl?"

Dr. Can Dey Light held his glasses.

"Yes, I know her..., Now you happy Ms. Me Coo Rey Lel?"

He leaned against the table beside him.

"Does she even know what her teacher wants her to do? Ah... Kal Soe will kill her for this."

The woman, Me Coo, held the files tighter.

"Can you explain what you mean? Is she actually going to be killed, or...?"

Dr. Can Dey Light scratched the side of his head

. "Yes, I didn't mean literally kill. More like hit with a stick or something."

Me Coo sighed.

"Thanks Joe (Thank God)."

Dr. Can Dey looked out the window.

"Are the patients fine?"

Me Coo nodded.

"Yes. Some doctors are checking them. They just need permission from a Tw Doctor like you."

Dr. Can Dey Light:

"I see. I will be there in five minutes."

Me Coo: "Yes, understood. By the way... what about that girl?"

Dr. Can Dey Light watched his feet touch each other.

"She will... or maybe she won't. The teachers of the First Triangle kinds are hard on their students."

Me Coo looked at him.

"Like your teacher? I still remember you spent two days in school as a punishment. How were the ghosts?"

Dr. Can Dey Light looked annoyed.

"You're asking that same question again. Just... some of the ghosts had really long necks."

Me Coo: "Only some?"

Dr. Can Dey Light: "Do I look like I'm lying?"

Me Coo waved one hand while holding the books with the other.

"Hah... nie-nie-nie-nie-nie-nie. I believe you."

Dr. Can Dey turned back to the window.

"But... you got that, right?"

Me Coo: "They have a lovely dynamic."

He looked at her and shouted.

"I didn't mean it like that!"

His words were cut off as someone appeared at the door. He wore blue clothes under a long white coat.

"There are patients arriving in front of the hospital."

Dr. Can Dey Light: "Not again. We already have so many to handle."

The man: "But two boys are from the Novel Family."

Dr. Can Dey's expression became serious. "Who are they?"

Outside the hospital, Ha Men was holding Tim. De Ra Goe was lying on the floor. Some guards came out and checked on De Ra Goe. Tim was breathing heavily. A person in full blue clothes came to Tim and checked his mouth and eyes with a flashlight. He nodded and carried Tim on his back.

Ha Men watched them take Tim into the hospital. A guard came up behind Ha Men and covered him with a blanket. Then, Ha Men was led into the hospital.

He looked behind him.
