Nicholas POV
Callum came through the door first.
The way he always did. Two steps in.
Positioned to the right. His eyes moving across the room immediately, taking in Nicholas behind the desk, Sebastian in the chair, Lucian on the sofa and landing on each of them for exactly long enough to assess.
Eli came in behind him. Quiet and precise. Already reading the room before he had fully closed the door.
Finn was last. His broad frame filling the doorway briefly before he stepped through. His eyes went to Lucian first. Stayed there for a beat longer than they went anywhere else.
Nicholas noted that.
Finn noticed things. It was why he was useful.
All three betas stood in front of the desk.
"We have approximately twenty minutes before the moon is fully risen," Nicholas said. "What I am about to tell you does not leave this room. It does not go to the pack. It does not go to anyone." He looked at each beta in turn. "Are we clear."
"Yes Alpha." All three. Simultaneous.
