The Ravenscroft mansion had quietly become shared space between two families connected by two little boys who refused to let anybody live separately emotionally.
Early that morning, tiny laughter echoed across the large nursery upstairs.
One of the boys sat inside the middle of the carpet throwing stuffed toys everywhere while the second child struggled seriously with building blocks that kept collapsing every few seconds.
"No!" The little boy frowned angrily at the blocks before throwing one dramatically.
Vivian burst into laughter immediately.
"You're already behaving like Sebastian during meetings."
Across the room Isabella laughed too while helping Vale Junior wear his tiny shoes.
"No." She shook her head. "This attitude definitely came from Vale."
At the doorway, Sebastian and Alexander Vale exchanged tired looks at the same time.
"Wonderful," Vale muttered. "Now we're being insulted before breakfast."
Vivian smiled innocently. "Truth isn't insult."
