The Ravenscroft dining room looked unusually lively.
Vivian sat feeding one of the children pancakes while Isabella laughed nearby after the second child successfully stole fruit from Vale's plate again.
"See?" Isabella laughed. "That one definitely inherited Vale's stubbornness."
Vale narrowed his eyes dramatically. "Why is every bad behavior suddenly mine?"
Sebastian calmly sipped coffee. "Because unfortunately it is."
The dining room burst into laughter instantly.
Even the staff nearby struggled not to laugh too.
The atmosphere had become so natural now that sometimes outsiders forgot both families once nearly destroyed each other.
The children especially erased every remaining tension.
Because they moved freely between everyone without fear.
One child suddenly climbed into Sebastian's lap while the other stretched tiny hands toward Vivian.
"Up."
Vivian carried him immediately.
