Space itself cracked behind the waitress, opening a fissure in reality itself.
"Wuaaaa," the woman screamed startled as she stepped back. "What the hell!?"
She cursed with confusion.
Though unlike her, Aku was very calm.
Something didn't take long to emerge from the crack. A dark, viscous tentacle with a sharp tip.
The tentacle moved like a whip and tried to reach the waitress, but with a gesture, Aku made the tentacle twist unnaturally.
It seemed as if an invisible force was being exerted on the tentacle, but it wasn't that Aku was using telekinesis. It was something different.
Since that crack expelled the essence of chaos (azoth) into the environment, Aku simply manipulated that azoth to make the tentacle twist.
It was a simple process for a demon king like him. In fact, the tentacle ended up exploding without Aku even having to exert himself.
"W-what's happening?" Claire asked nervously. "Are we being attacked by demons? Did they manage to break through the barrier?"
