The Dark Celestials were different from the ordinary Celestials.
To prevent the events of the distant past from happening again, the First Firmament had learned his lesson.
He had erased the Dark Celestials' emotions.
Only cold reason remained.
The Dark Celestials were now nothing more than emotionless puppets.
They possessed no feelings and no individual temperaments.
Their sole reason for existing was to help the First Firmament achieve his goals.
Were more than ten thousand Dark Celestials terrifying?
Of course they were.
Even beings on the level of the Five Great Gods would face certain death if they encountered more than ten thousand Dark Celestials at once.
However, once those Dark Celestials entered the vast Multiverse and scattered throughout it, their numbers no longer seemed quite as overwhelming.
The powerful beings of the Multiverse could defeat them one group at a time and eventually eliminate them all.
Their only possible fate was to be killed by the powerful existences of the Multiverse.
However, that was precisely the First Firmament's objective.
He wanted to plunge the Multiverse into complete chaos.
Once that happened, the abstract entities would weaken while his own strength would increase dramatically, allowing him to seize control of this world.
To the First Firmament, these Dark Celestials were disposable.
They were nothing more than weapons.
Naturally, they had no intention of speaking with Karl.
They attacked the moment they arrived.
Streams of black energy surged toward him.
Many powerful beings in the Marvel Universe did not rely on elaborate techniques.
That was especially true of naturally divine beings like the Celestials.
They either fought their opponents directly or crushed them with overwhelming physical power.
They did not possess the wide variety of complicated spells practiced at Kamar-Taj.
However, that did not mean their power was weak.
The moment their tremendous wills were infused into the black energy, the entire world began to distort.
The laws of reality twisted.
For an instant, it seemed as though all matter within the Solar System was about to disappear.
Karl knew that the matter had not actually vanished.
Instead, the laws governing it had been distorted, temporarily preventing him from sensing its existence.
It was similar to the way human vision worked.
Humans could see objects because light existed.
Once the light disappeared, those objects could no longer be seen.
The same principle applied here.
With all the surrounding laws distorted, Karl could no longer perceive anything around him.
"As expected of the Dark Celestials."
"That is impressive power. Unfortunately, compared to me, it is still nothing remarkable."
Karl raised an eyebrow.
With a single thought, terrifying sources of power began gathering around him.
As Karl grew stronger, his understanding of this world also deepened.
He now possessed a very clear understanding of his own strength.
According to his current knowledge, the multiversal level could be divided into three distinct stages.
The first stage consisted of beings who had only recently entered the multiversal level.
They could destroy ordinary universes and travel through the Multiverse.
However, once they entered the Main Universe, their strength was no longer particularly remarkable.
Most members of the Celestials belonged to this stage.
The second stage was Karl's current level.
Beings at this stage possessed an extremely profound understanding of fundamental sources of power.
They had clearly established their own paths, and their wills had become extraordinarily powerful.
They could instantly destroy dozens of universes.
If they unleashed their full strength, their power could even affect half of the Multiverse.
Most ordinary gods at the multiversal level belonged to this stage.
The third stage was the level occupied by existences such as the Five Great Gods and the First Firmament.
They had merged themselves with their paths and had effectively become incarnations of fundamental laws.
A single thought from such a being could destroy the entire Multiverse and affect all of reality.
Their combat strength might differ because of the distinct laws and fundamental sources they embodied, but their level of existence was extraordinarily high.
For Karl, facing several dozen Dark Celestials certainly placed him under some pressure.
However, the situation was still within his control.
Space began changing under the influence of his will.
In an instant, the laws of space centered around Karl were altered.
Space folded upon itself.
The space directly before Karl suddenly connected with the space surrounding the Dark Celestials.
The powerful black energy beams immediately twisted.
In the next instant, the black beams appeared behind the Dark Celestials.
They were given no time to react.
The dark energy struck them directly.
Although these Dark Celestials were merely puppets, their strength was entirely genuine.
The instant they sensed something was wrong, powerful energy shields appeared around their bodies.
The shields rapidly joined together as they attempted to block the terrifying attack.
However, they had reacted too slowly.
One of the Dark Celestials was instantly vaporized by the terrifying torrent of energy.
The other Dark Celestials displayed no emotional response whatsoever.
Without the slightest hesitation, they attacked Karl again.
They possessed astonishing learning abilities.
After suffering a setback at Karl's hands, they immediately changed their method of attack.
Several dozen Dark Celestials attacked from every direction.
At the same time, strange black light illuminated their bodies.
When Karl used his spatial power to redirect their attacks once again, the black light surrounding their bodies absorbed the returning energy.
"Impressive. That is no simple technique."
"The First Firmament truly deserves his reputation as a being capable of fighting the Five Great Gods. His methods are extraordinarily profound."
"The runes on their armor are remarkably mysterious."
A faint light flickered in Karl's eyes.
With a single glance, he understood the nature of their defense.
The black light surrounding the Dark Celestials originated from powerful runes engraved into their armor.
Those runes were what produced the mysterious energy-absorption effect.
"You can absorb your own power?"
"Then let me see exactly how much energy you can absorb."
As the thought crossed Karl's mind, his tremendous will changed once again.
While Karl fought in outer space, the Illuminati observed the battle from the surface of Earth.
The Illuminati of the Main Universe were genuinely capable.
They might not have been able to fight the powerful Dark Celestials themselves, but they could at least observe the battle.
Using their technology, they even reconstructed the changes occurring in the surrounding laws of reality.
That would have been unimaginable for the Tony Stark from Karl's universe.
"This is terrifying."
"So this is the Sorcerer Supreme of another universe?"
"He can casually alter the laws of reality and the physical constants of the universe. How is that any different from being a god?"
"Are we really the Main Universe?"
Tony Stark stared at the screen in utter disbelief.
His heart and eyes were filled with shock.
Karl possessed power beyond anything Tony had ever imagined.
"Who knows?"
"He truly is no different from God."
Mister Fantastic gave a bitter smile.
He had once defeated God Emperor Doom.
But compared to Karl, God Emperor Doom was nothing!
