3 days later....

Like another busy day. Mysty sat on the couch, editing her latest video. Johnson is working on the new products with Covie assisting him.
"You're not going to the office to work? " asked Mysty.
"I finished all the problems yesterday, thank goodness Albur chose to not join that UTD thing, or else there will be tons of work to do." Replied Johnson
"So now you're..."
"Working on a brand new product. What did they say again, this product could fire cotton candy? I mean come on, this idea is so cringe. Yet it won most of the votes."
"Why would a health and safety company make cotton candy dispensers?"
"I don't know, they say it could like what, calm down people or humans when they ate it? Ridiculous!"
"It was my idea actually. " murmured Covie.
Johnson glared at Covie.
"You what?"
"Yeah! That's my idea, like you are so angry now, so..."
Covie took out a gun and fired, then, from the gun, a big lime green colored cloud floated towards Johnson. Johnson grabbed the cloud.
"So, this is the prototype?"
"Come on, eat it, its good."
Johnson ate the cotton candy, irritated.
"Is it good? Its lime flavoured. "
"The innovative department needs another employee change huh. How will that puff of cloud calm someone down?"
"I don't know."
Johnson sighed and sat on the chair.
"Oh yeah, and also, I fully fixed the anti swear gun. " Covie said as she took out a weird looking pistol. Johnson flinched and back away.
"Don't use that cursed thung in me! I don't wanna get electrocuted again!"
"Relax, I removed that feature." Covie pulled the trigger, the gun fired a bullet that hit Johnson in the head.
"Now, you won't be able to swear."
Johnson rolled his eyes.
"Wow, you seem to hate swear words so much." said Mysty.
Covie winked.
"By the way, where had Albur gone?" Asked Johnson.
"He is a news reporter, he gotta have to go to work. He is probably now conducting a live broadcast or interviewing eyewitnesses. " said Mysty.
"K....What channel is that again?"
"Everyday News."
Johnson opened his computer, he clicked on the keyboard and found the channel of Everyday News. He found that there is a live broadcast right now.
"Hey, there is a live one now." said Johnson.
"Woooo, I wanna see it, where." exclaimed Covie.
Johnson clicked on the current live broadcast. The broadcast is about an incident of another glitch terrorism.
"Looks like UTD isn't lying, there are indeed still some glitches alive."
"They always exist don't they? "
"Since all generals and Commander Glitch is dead, normally the glitches just mind their own business. Without a guiding leader plus no orders given they just do what they want, or like UTD said, terrorize for unknown reason."
The screen cuts to the scene where the incident takes place, which is the Xectar City City Hall. Albur is seen on the screen, holding a microphone and talking to the camera. The hall is nearly destroyed, with broken cars and signs of explosion everywhere. Police arrived at the scene as well as many other news report companies.
"This is the scene where the latest glitch incident happened. Located at the hall of Xectar City. As we could see, this place had been through a terrible fight. Let's ask what the witnesses that called the police and ambulance says about this accident. "
The camera cuts to a random citizen, Albur held the microphone near the witnesses mouth.
"Man that fight was brutal, one man....just got.....crushed by a flying twitching car at.....a very fast speed. Thank goodness I called the ambulance in time. I hope he is OK....."
"Police secured the area, some scientists also came to investigate the broken cars. Let's see what the scientists says about this."
"The attack this time is quite different. The car that got parasitized was in weird condition. Every code in the system were rewritten, and many parts that shouldn't exist in the car is just, there. There are lots of things we still need to unravel to fully understand how the glitches work. "

"Huh? Rewritten codes? "
"Parts that doesn't belong to the car itself?"
The crew was confused by the words of the scientist.
"That isn't an ability of a glitch, is it?"
"No, something is very off here."
"This can't be a new ability the glitches got right?"
The crew had no idea regarding to the situation.
"Should we get to Albur now?
"We should probably go, I have a bad feeling about this..."
The crew shared a nod. Mysty grabbed her pistols, Johnson took his minigun and a back up machine gun, Covie put on GK gloves. They quickly called a taxi and hurried to the city hall of Xectar City.
After a few minutes, the crew reached the hall. They looked around, and found Albur standing next to a cameraman.
"Albur!" Mysty called Albur's name. Albur turned around, and was surprised to see the crew here.
"Guys? Why are you here?" He asked.
"We watched the news, and felt something is off, so we hurried over here to see what is happening exactly." said Covie.
"Oh, you meant the car attacking incident?" Asked Albur.
"What exactly happened?" Asked Johnson.
"A CI car suddenly went rogue and attacked people in the hall. But strangely this doesn't look like a normal glitch attack."
The crew looked around, their mind is still flooded with question marks. But suddenly, Albur's cameraman shook him.
"Uh, Albur? Do you see that thing?"
Albur raised an eyebrow. The crew looked at the direction the cameraman was pointing at. There is a black dot in the sky, it looks like something is flying towards them. Albur quickly backed off. The object landed right infront of the crew's feet. The crew slowly approached to the object. It is a black box with purple linings on it.
"Huh, what is this thing?"
Suddenly, the box begun to shake, the crew backed away again. After a few seconds, the box burst open. Then, a gust of particles emerged from the box. Its a purple gust of particle. With colorful dots around it, it twitches.
"What the...a glitch?"
Johnson stared at it, but then, a cold sweat rolled down his face.
"No.....this isn't a normal glitch."
The particles twitched again. Then, it looked around, it found a police officer nearby and dove straight to him. The particles entered the body of the officer. The officer immediately realized something is inside him, he panicked.
"Hold still officer..."
Albur took out his rifle and switched to GK mode. He fired a shot at the officer. Oddly, the glitch didn't exit the body of the officer and dissolve. Suddenly, the officer felt intense pain. He fell on the ground, yelling and screaming in extreme pain. Everyone backed away, the officer's body is squirming violently. His nails were being pushed out and so are his teeth. His skin begun to rip and reveal a pinkish purple skin beneath it. His face distorted, and he is twitching even violently.
"Help...help...."
The officer at last fell onto the ground, dead. After a few seconds, the body started moving. It stranded on all fours, it grew new sharp nails on its hands and razor sharp fangs in its mouth. The creature had pinkish purple skin, irregular shaped humps and a long pointy tongue. It also have many colorful dots on it, representing a glitched screen. It rose its head, and made a bloody screech. Johnson's alarm blared, flashing red lights.
"What the heck is that?! " yelled Covie.
The creature looked at the crew. It screeched and rushed towards them, charging at full speed. The crew dodged its charge and entered battle pose. The citizens nearby all screamed and ran away. The police guided the citizens to evacuate. The creature turned its head, he ignored the crew and charged straight towards the running citizens.
"Oh no you xxxxxx don't!"
Johnson's robot claw fired out like a grapple hook. It grabbed the creature by the leg. Johnson tried to pull it back, but the creature appears to have intense strength, both struggled to pull each other. Covie helped pulling, Albur fired a Virus Corruption at the creature. The creature was significantly injured by the shot, but quickly recovered not long after. It turned around and look at Albur, in fury. It hissed as it was slowly pulled back by Johnson. The creature managed to break free from the claw and it charged towards Albur. Mysty used her taser and stunned the creature. Albur switched to slot 1 and fired a Disabling Shot at the creature. While its stunned, the crew all used their weapon's strongest move and showered onto the creature.
After the ashes cleared, the creature remained still.
"Is....it...dead? " asked Mysty.
Albur slowly approached to it. But then, the creature started moving. It stood up once again, the attacks that landed on it doesn't seem to injure it very much. Albur backed away slowly while aiming his rifle at the creature.
The slot 3 of Albur's rifle moved a little.
"The shots aren't working! " said Albur.
"Xxxx it..."
The creature let out another bloody screech. And there's even distorted voices of the officer that mutated into this creature.
"Let's try using laser mode. GK mode isn't working that well!" Said Johnson.
The crew switched their weapons back to laser mode. They fired it at the creature. This time, it dealt significant damage to it. But ut doesn't stop it from charging towards them at full speed. Albur pulled Mysty away while Johnson vanished into the digital world and Covie flew up into the air. The creature smashed onto a building, it cracked the whole building and made a huge hole at the point of impact.
The other police officers requested back up from UTD. The creature was annoyed by the beeping sound of the signal sending device. The creature turned around and charged towards the officer. Albur and Mysty tried to distract the creature by firing their weapons at it. Johnson also returned to the normal realm and launched his claw towards the creature again. But it was too late, the creature tackled the officer and bit the officer's arm.
The officer yelled in extreme pain, the creature hurt the officer even more by scratching his body with its claws. Johnson's claw grabbed the head of the creature and pulled it towards the crew. Albur used a charged up Virus Corruption and fired at the creature before getting knocked back by the recoil. The bullet penetrated the body of the creature, finally killing it.
Albur fired more shots at the body in case it might get back up again. Mysty ran over to the police officer that was injured.
"Covie! Come help!"
Covie flew to the officer, trying to heal the officer's injury.
Johnson approached to the creature's dead body, he carefully inspected it, then, that same glitch exited the body of the creature, and dissolved. Johnson was confused, he decided to take a chunk of flesh of the creature and use for research.
But then, Johnson's alarm blared again, flashing red lights and even louder warning.
"Warning, unknown glitch type entity detected nearby. Beware. Beware."
Albur heard the warning system, they both met eyes, a bad feeling rose in their heart. Suddenly, the injured officer's started squirming, Mysty and Covie immediately realized something is wrong. They immediately backed away. Like the previous officer that got parasitized by that weird glitch, the officer's body started squirming and twitching violently. He yelled in pain as the transformation completed, turning into the same creature they killed just now.
"AWWW SNAP! Mysty! Covie! Be careful!" yelled Albur.
Mysty and Covie backed away. The creature stood up unlike the previous one. It screeched while purple liquid sprayed out of its mouth.
But just as the creature is about to attack, capture nets fell from the sky, it captured the creature. The net released electric shocks to stun the creature, the creature screeched as it fainted. The crew looked up, UTD airships are seen in the sky, some agents jumped off the ship and carefully put the captured creature into a cage.
"Are you all alright?" asked one of the agents.
Albur and Johnson got to Mysty and Covie.
"Yeah, we're good."
Some agents then walked to the dead body of the previous creature they killed. They took out a box and collected the dead body.
The slot 3 of Albur's rifle moved a little.
