The crew walked for a while, its pretty quiet and peaceful. Until, the energy detector spiked, beeping rapidly.
"What's wrong, Rhea?"
Rhea stared at the screen of the detector. It shows there are 2 high energy sources nearby other than the cores.
"There's something else here..."
"What?"
"There's are 2 high energy sources here, they aren't the core of the tumor."
As the crew listened to Rhea while walking, Albur accidentally bumped into something. Something hard, and made out of metal.
"Aw dang!"
"Watch where you're going, idiot."
Albur looked at what he bumped into. Its a wing, specifically a wing of a jet, stabbing into the ground, standing on its side. Mysty stared at the wing in confusion, thinking why would there be a jet around a metro station. Rhea scanned the wing,
"It...belongs to the wing of a bomber jet..."
Albur looked around the wing, he saw something weird.
Next to the wing is a broken building, with a huge chunk of it missing. Burn stains are seen on it as well, its not like it was destroyed by virus lifeforms. He walked around and looked into the building. And he saw it, a giant bomber jet, which crashed onto the building.
Albur called the crew to come look at it. Rhea scanned the whole jet.
"Yeah, this is one of the bomber jets of UTD."
"The one used to nuke this place up in the original plan?"
"Yeah, but, there should be four of them...where are the other 3?"
The crew looked around, they found even more pieces of the bomber jets, but they didn't find the full body of them.
"Strange, they are being digested already? They are made of hard metal...."
"I think we should continue to move on, we don't have much time."
"Sure."
The crew continued to walk. At last, they reached the first metro station. After another dozen of kilometers, they will reach the second metro station where the fourth core is located.
The crew walked into the station building. Its a relief that the station wasn't corrupted too heavily to be turned into a tower lifeform. But when they are near the railway, they heard chewing noises. Accompanied by bone crunching sounds and flesh tearing noises.
The crew turned towards the railway, they walked to it and looked left and right of the railway tunnel. Then, they saw 2 figures, standing in the tunnel of the left. The crew hid behind a wall and peeked at them.
It's Wilton, and Shy Mask. Shy Mask is holding a dead body sack, he used a tiny little dagger and sliced the body in it into pieces and threw them on the floor. And on the ground next to them, there are two virus lifeforms, but they have the shape of an atomic bomb, chewing on the sliced pieces.
"There y'all go, that's all I had." Shy emptied the sack. Wilton stared at him in annoyance.
"You're such a wimp, you don't look like someone that fits the circus."
"Yeah, that's what everyone call me, I'm just the janitor, not something strong as heck."
Wilton sighed, the Glitch Wipeout Crew stared at them in horror, not because of them, its because of those atomic bomb virus lifeforms they are feeding.
"Are those...atomic bombs?"
Havoc looked at those virus lifeforms and analyzed.
"Those are Consumer Lifeforms, more specifically Consumer Lifeforms that used an atom bomb as their body."
The Consumer Lifeforms have the body of a heavily corrupted and deformed atom bomb, with the body of the bomb split in half, revealing rows of irregular razor sharp teeth and a long sharp tongue covered in saliva.
Shy sighed as he bent down and pet one of the consumer lifeforms, it cooed and licked Shy's mask with its tongue. The other one is sniffing Shy's bloody mop, curious of its scent.
"So....you begged me for hours to come with you here.....just to come here and feed these nukes."
"Well, I'm wondering if boss would want the nukes on their body."
"Huh, I heard from Juggler he is one cruel guy who enjoy slow kills rather than instant death."
Rhea's face became serious, the atomic bomb consumer lifeforms will be a super dangerous threat, not only because of their exploding damage and radius, it also cause atomic level damage that Covie couldn't heal. They might have decreased damage due to being corrupted by virus substances, but still its very risky to let them roam around.
Shy patted the two nukes. Wilton sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Let's go back to the tent, the reconstruction is around finished, I still gotta work on the bad boy."
"Alright."
The two turned around and prepared to leave the metro station. The crew switched the angle of hiding to not get noticed by them. But then, one of the atomic bomb consumer lifeform noticed the crew, it screeched at them, which caught the two's attention. They quickly turned around.
"What? Who's there?"
The crew realized they can't hide anymore, Albur quickly spun his rifle around on his hands and fired a ricochet Hyper Blast. The blast hit the ground near Wilton and Shy, knocking them back. It then bounced towards the two nukes and exploded near them. The atom bombs snarled and glowed bright red.
"You fool! Don't fire at those nukes! They will blow up!"
"My bad....."
Wilton realized its the crew, he smirked. He took out a small real rocket from his pocket, he lit it and smoked on it.
"The Glitch Wipeout Crew huh...you guys got new upgrades?"
The crew drew out their weapons and aimed at Wilton. Shy took out his little dagger and pointed at the crew. Wilton chuckled, he puffed out a smoke and threw the rocket at the crew. Mysty kicked it before it reached them, it flew towards another direction and exploded shortly after.
"Wow, you guys improved a lot, how cute."
Wilton laughed and looked at his robot left hand. He pressed a button on it, then, the arm begun to change form, the fingers retracted into the palm and a large syringe extended out from it. Wilton pulled a switch that resembles a reload trigger on the arm. The syringe's barrel was filled with purple liquid.
"Check out my new toy."
Rhea cracked her knuckles, she dashed towards Wilton and punched his chest. Wilton backed away a little, Rhea remained distance with him, trying to figure out what the syringe does. Wilton aimed the syringe at Rhea, and fired 2 darts from it.
Rhea dodged the darts, they hit the wall. Then, virus substances begun to appear on the wall. Rhea realized its a virus dispenser.
"Holy Molly! A veritable infectious sneeze discharger!" Havoc exclaimed.
Wilton chuckled and fired more darts. Rhea dodged some of them and punched at the flying darts, breaking them. The purple liquid in the barrel begun to run out, Wilton reloaded them and fired at Rhea again.
Rhea blocked them one by one, Albur fired a Disabling Shot from behind. The shot disabled Wilton's whole body, shutting the system down. Albur charged a Virus Corruption and aimed at Wilton. But then, Shy Mask ran towards Albur and stabbed his dagger at Albur's hip.
He yelled in agony, and missed the shot. Mysty quickly rushed towards Shy and performed a swirl kick and knocked him back, Covie healed Albur's injury.
Rhea punched Wilton numerous times while he is disabled. When Wilton's body got back to work, he quickly pushed Rhea away using an energy shot that fires out from his chest. He backed away, and fired the virus darts.
One of the darts hit Rhea's leg, she quickly ripped it off and threw it away. Covie quickly flew to her and repaired her broken leg. The infected leg squirmed, and grew limbs and a mouth. It screeched after the transformation is completed. Rhea was horrified by how fast the infection was.
Wilton fired another wave of darts. Rhea deflected the darts, but one of them flew straight towards Albur. Albur tried to dodge, but the dart still hit his rifle, stabbing directly into slot 3.
"Crap! Havoc!"
Virus substances begun to grow on Havoc's body, but then, rainbow colored substances covered the virus substance and devoured it.
"Too weak and susceptible, "
Rhea killed the leg virus lifeform instantly. Wilton fired more and more darts. Rhea deflected them all and watched carefully when Wilton was distracted. She saw the opening and kicked his chest very hard. Albur cleaned the rifle and fired a charged Virus Corruption at Wilton's syringe.
The shot hit the syringe barrel. It burst into pieces, the virus liquid was spilled out and sucked dry by the corruption.
"God damn it!"
Wilton backed off, Rhea moved her neck and cracked her knuckles. Wilton noticed the battlefield is no longer at his favor. He quickly took out the radio attached on his arm.
"Cluster. Can you hear me? I need you to teleport me and Shy back to the tent! Now!"
Shy wanted to further attack. But when he drew out his dagger and dashed towards Albur, Mysty blocked him from reaching Albur. She used her taser and shocked Shy, she then kicked his stomach rapidly and used the sharp edge on her leg and kicked straight at Shy's face, shattering his tragedy mask.
Shy fell on the ground, he covered his face whilst backing off. Mysty drew out her twin pistols and charged up 2 orbs. But before she fire them, one of the atomic bomb consumer lifeform suddenly rushed to Shy and stood in front of him. It snarled at Mysty, and hissed, Shy took the opportunity to get up and run.
Mysty backed away and remained distance with the little nuke. She aimed her pistols at the fleeing janitor. Wilton realized the teleporting lighting still isn't here, Shy is running towards another direction and Rhea is about to attack him further. He quickly picked up 2 pieces of his syringe on the floor.
"Oh no you don't!"
Wilton threw the pieces at Mysty. Rhea dashed towards the pieces and deflected one, but before she could delfect another one, Wilton fired an energy shot at her leg which made her trip. The piece flew straight towards Mysty and hit her pistols. Mysty accidentally pulled the trigger, the shot missed. It head towards the other atomic bomb consumer lifeform instead, hitting the ground near it.
The little nuke snarled at Mysty, and glew bright red. Mysty realized she accidentally hit it. It screeched louder as it approached Mysty slowly. Mysty quickly backed away.
"Crap.... I'm so sorry....I didn't mean to hit you.....I was about to...."
The consumer lifeform snarled louder. It glowed even redder. The other mini nuke realized its buddy is about to blow, it quickly fled. The crew realized this guy is about to cause a massive destruction, Mysty quickly ran, the crew quickly left the metro station. Rhea used the rockets beneath her foot to fly while Covie grabbed the 2 humans and the hut before taking off.
Wilton ran out of the metro station, and was later struck by Cluster's teleporting lightning. The metro station glowed a bright light, then, a super massive explosion occurred. The shockwave nearly made the flying crew lose their balance.
But after the main explosion ended, it exploded another round. Causing splinters of the bomb to fly away in different directions. One of the splinters flew towards Covie, Albur noticed it. He quickly fired a Hyper Blast at it, trying to destroy it before it reached them. But it missed. With no other choice, Albur switched directions and tried to use the shadow blade to block the splinter. But he was directly hit by the splinter.
The splinter exploded, causing a huge explosion. The explosion directly injured Albur. The shockwave made Covie to lose her balance and fell, along with Mysty and Albur. Rhea tried to dive down to save them, but then, the parts of the atom bomb that wasn't triggered to explode earlier exploded, causing a second explosion. Its larger, brighter, and have a stronger shockwave. The shockwave made Rhea lose her balance, causing her to fall.
A large part of the tumor was colored orange by the explosion.
