Saeko looked at the blonde girl, Yumiko Miura and the rest of the people beside her before she rested her eyes in the blonde haired boy with a pale expression, Hayama Hayato
Hayama swallowed his saliva and responded, " I didn't know, you asked us what a zombie was and we told you all we knew but this and what is happening outside can't be understood through our perception "
Hayama, steadied his trembling heart though the fear was still present
" You can't expect us to know exactly what a zombie is when we've never seen one before! "
Hayama almost shouted in frustration
It's not that he was furious at Saeko for asking a seemingly impossible question
He's angry at the situation that found themselves in
When he first heard Yuigahama's sobbing he had been startled like the rest of the class and had become worried
He had been confused and scared when he noticed Yumiko and Yukinoshita's pale expressions and the sounds of screams at the school
What happened next left him and the people around him chilled
As the classroom door was rushed by multiple students trying to flee from whatever situation had fallen on the school
A girl, Amikuro Shiro, who had a weak constitution fell onto the floor after exiting the class
As she did, she was not met by the warm embrace of a prince charming coming to save her but the trampling of panicked animals trying to flee from danger
Her screams were brief, ending with a sickening snap of bones breaking
Hayama had watched as the students froze, the situation becoming dire as they processed the death of a fellow classmates
One of the boys, Akutami approached with tears falling down his face, the crowd parting away as if fearing he'd turn on them if they stood in his path
Just as he croached down, Amikuro who had her neck snapped in two twitched and 5 seconds later a scream tore through the building
One of disbelief and fear!
After that the situation spiralled out of control
' Amikuro ' seemingly became a beast, hunting students and ripping their flesh! '
Hayato and his friends still in class with Yui and the other watched as she was lead away by the students she chased, catching a few in the way and consuming them among their terrified cries
Just as the people in class were panicking,
Akutami who had been given a kiss so deep it took his life away, stood up!
And turned his gaze, previously heartbroken, now bloodshot with grey pupils
His rise wasn't silent as the other ' lucky ' students did too
He lunged at them only to slam into a suddenly closed door
Everyone's eyes landed on a black haired boy with dead fish eyes as he said with a panicked tone
" What the hell are you doing!? barricade the door! We don't want that thing in here for we! "
After that they barricaded the class and stood quietly listening to the screams that permiated the air
As they calmed down they noticed that the girls they had previously been worried about were more scared than shocked
When asked they just stayed silent, and before they could get impatient,the sounds that had been surrounded the hallway outside the class died
Footsteps approached and they heard a soft but commanding voice
" Open the door or I'll break it "
Though she wasn't gently about her approach, she had indeed saved them and the rest of the class
So when she said they're leaving none dared object, as the followed her she had asked whT they knew about zombies giving them a flash of insights
They knew zombies but they didn't connect them to the situation since who in the hell would genuinely think of a zombie apocalypse in an emergency
But as they recalled everything that happened they realised that yeah everything checked
Dead people rising ✅
Dead people chasing people still alive✅
Dead eating people ✅
People eaten becoming dead✅
They suddenly felt they understand why Yui Yuigahama broke down, it seemed she had realised the situation earlier and had felt hopeless
But just as they were hopeless too the realised the woman in front didn't show any sign of fear
Saeko Busujima didn't have an ounce of fear towards the current situation
And as the watched her cut through the hoard with ease they realised why
She was strong!

The students who were afraid and lost suddenly realised, that there was such a big golden thigh in front of them

A message from two people showed on her screen covered with blood
- Yukinoshita Haruno : Saeko, please help me! I know I used you to get to Takumi but please, help my sister!
- Saya Takagi : The school gymnasium is cleared and while we don't have food everyone here already understands the situation. Oh and don't make noise most of these zombies are attracted by noise so be careful about what you do and try to stay quiet!
As she looked at the messages she put her phone into her skirt pocket and turned to the group following
" We're heading to the gymnasium, Make unnecessary noise and I'll make sure the zombies will have you on a silver platter "
She turned and started the journey
She didn't waste time seeing if the threat stuck cause none of what she said was a lie
As for Haruno's message, she didn't even bother to reply
She had been used to threaten a friend, not retaliating was already good enough, not to mention
Saeko looked at the girl at the far back looking extremely lost, her black hair a mess
She already helped her sister didn't she?

Her regret filled eyes on her phone, in a contact history that had only one message
- Yukinoshita Haruno : Takumi Miyamoto, I hope for the sake of your family's stability you put some distance from mine. Someone with a past like yours bring ruin to those around you.
Haruno had never felt this much regret in life but there's nothing she could do to change the past .
She typed a new message and the chat history that had been dead for months sprung back to life ...
The message was simple and straightforward with no sugarcoating ...
- Yukinoshita Haruno : Takumi Miyamoto, I'm sorry for what I said but I need your help!
Just as she sent this she heard two inner voices ...
