Nick's pov
At Jonas Villa
I directly went to my mom. I was in hurry for the answer.
My mom was in the living room with her friends.
Lydia had already reached. She was also there.
She was standing behind mom, trying to talk to her.
May be she reached just before a second.
I entered the room. My mon saw me and came to me.
She held my hand and took me near Lydia.
She let me stand next to Lydia and said to her friends, " Look, they both look good together."
" soon they will get engaged."
Upon listening I yelled on her and said, " mom, i have to talk to you."
But she ignored me.
I held her hand and pulled her with me.
I took her into other room. Lydia also followed us.
Lydia said to mom, " Aunty, I don't want to marry your son. I love someone else and I have already told my parents. So stop playing games with me and Nick."
" I know my mom also helped you to trick me. But this idea was yours."
" So please stay the hell out of my life."
My mom was seeing Lydia in shock. She had never seen her this role.
She said, " Lydia, me and your mom both are doing this for you. That man you claim to love does notatch with our financial status."
Lydia said suprisingly, " So you already knew about my boyfriend still you do this with your son."
Mom said again, " Rose also does not mafcb with our status."
I said, " Yes of course because she has a pure heart. She is not like you."
Mom said with anger, " How can you talk to me like this for that girl."
I also replied in same tone, " How can you do this with me."
" tell me what happened last night. What we have done and what you have done?"
She replied mockingly, " how could I know what happened with you. Did you do something wrong?"
I was already angry and this nonsense is making me more angry.
I warned her, " I am asking last time what happened last night. If you don't answer it, I will boycott this house, you and everything and will mever returned this house."
" and this is not a empty threat, I can do this for real."
" she scared. Because she know I never give empty threats."
She said, " okag fine, I will tell you."
" I have given drugs to both of you. And swnt you both in the room together. There you got intimate."
" I know it's my mistake, but yours also. Your partners will never forgive you for this. They will leave you as they already knew about this. I don't know about Lydia's boyfriend but Rose had already saw you together. She will never get back to you."
I became angry.
I asked, " She came last night and you met her?"
She replied, " yes"
"What did you say to her", I shouted on her.
She replied, " I just said Lydia is your fiance."
However, I didn't lie. Your engagement was already fixed with Lydia in you childhood."
" Are you mad, we were kids back then. Now we are adults and we both love someone else."
"So you can't interrupt. I will never marry Lydia."
I left the room after saying this.
I message popped in my phone. It's Rose. She texted, " You and Lydia both look good together. You deserve each other. May god bless you too."
She also sent me the photos of me and Lydia. When we both were in kitchen yeaterday morning and also night photos.
My heart sank. She had misunderstanding about me and Lydia.
When Lydia came to know about Rose, she wanted to test Rose.
But I bet on her that Rose is a very loving and thoughtful person.
That's why Lydia stayed a day before yesterday at our home. She wanted to see Rose.
She willingly said that she can't sleep alone. Because she wanted to see what will Rose do.
She was really very impressed with Rose.
And about breakfast, I don't know anything about cooking. But yesterday morning she forced me to make breakfast.
She taught me I should pay more efforts. She taught me first and then I prepared the breakfast. I also prepared Rose's favourite pancake.
I thought she was sleeping, so I tried breakfast myself because I was too excited to taste my breakfast.
After Rose left the home. I got a call from company, someone hacked our system.
I was there whole time. I didn't saw my phone even.
And about dinner, my secretary informed me about this.
I don't know that Rose had prepared for dinner date.
I would never join the family dinner.
I didn't think that all this will led such a misunderstanding.
Lydia was right. I should pay more efforts.
I reached the home. But the lock of the house was changed. I can't enter inside.
I rang the doorbell many time but no one answered.
Then I went to the bakery.
Rose was not there also. I asked Jack. Buf he was angry with me. He said, " How dare you to come here after doing this with Rose?"
I asked," please tell me where is she. She is not answering my phone."
He said something which make me scared.
He said," she left the country."
I was in shock. I mumbled, " wh... wh...what.... how can she?"
Jack took out a letter and gave it to me.
He said, " It's from Rose."
I opened the letter and read.
" I got admission in that school in which my mom always want me to study. I wanted to share this fabulous news to you at dinner yesterday. But instead I got surprise.
I love you Nick. The time we spent together was also very special to me. But I love my self respect also. I can't live with a men anymore who betrayed me and had slept with other women.
" I really want you came to me and said you had done nothing wrong. I wanted to trust you again. That's why I am leaving my address also. But don't come to me until you are completely sure that you have done nothing wrong."
" I will never forgive you, if you had betrayed me."
Rose"
I was heart broken. Rose really left me. But how can she left me.
She had also left the address, she loves me too much. I have done wrong with Rose . How could I face her.
She deserves better than me. It will be better if she forget me.
