Peter asked me to attend the party with him as his date.
It remind me of Nick. I was about to say but Peter said something.
He said, " my mom wants me to marry but I don't want to now. That's why she always kept introducing new girls to me every time. So just pretend in front of her, due to which I can be safe from her."
" Please help me."
He was just aaking because of his mother and I was comapring to Nick.

" okay I will go with you." I agreed.
I said, " send the time and location. I will reach there myself."
But he said, " No, I will pick you. Please send me your location. We should go together there so that everyone believes that we are couple."
I agreed again. I was about to go but I remember something.
"Don't you have a girlfriend." I asked
He gave me a strange look as I am a fool. Yeah I was.
If he had a girlfriend why would he ask me to be his date.
" I mean whose dress is this." I changed my question.
" your sister's or your ex." I asked before his answer.
He said, " No I am a single child of my parent. And I had a girlfriend but not here so this is not her dress."
" Then", I asked again.
" I told my secretary to buy this for you." He replied.
I was in shock. I asked , " How do you know my size."
He replied, " I don't, but she..... my secretary found out this."

" see you again." I said and left.
I was about to book a taxi but then I saw a car stop before me.
That's Rolls Royce. From window, driver said, " Peter Sir told me to drop you."
How can I say no to the rolls royce. So I agreed.
Next day
I recieved a parcel in the morning. It's from Peter.
He had sent me the dress for the party. The gown was very beautiful.
There was also note which says, " meet you at 7 pm be ready on time."
I thought he was very concerned about the party.
I went to the bakery. I have decided to focus on work again and forget Nick.
I know it's hard to forget him but I can do this.
I will go on dates from now on. If he had moved on why can't I.
I felt very good at the bakery.
Today I tried a expermient and that was sucess. I am going to update the menu with some new flavours.
I saw the time it's 6 pm. I left for home. I got ready in a hurry.
Thank god I always got reasy by myself. So I can style my hair on my own and do make up.
It's 7 pm and a horn honk outside my house. I know it's Nick who is on time and I am also.

Peter' s pov
I saw the girl coming toward. She is really very beautifull.
She was wearing the hot Red dress which is off shoulder and have a slit near the leg on one side.
She was looking hot. I don't even dare to remove my eyes from.
She held her hand toward me and said, " Hi".
I also shake hand.
" You are looking beautiful". I told her
" You too". She replied.
" should we get on the car." She asked.
I also came in my senses and said, " Yeah of course."
Rose's pov
The gaze from Peter was soemthing different. He was adoring me with his eyes. It felt good.
We are in the same car but still no one was speaking. So I decided to start.
" So what do you do", I asked.
I am going to take over my moms company soon.
" What, I thought you would start as a chef." I said.
But he said, " Nooe, Cooking is just my hobby and I had joined this course just to delay take over of my company."
I was surprised. That men spent his 5 year there. But now saying , he just do this for fun.
" You are really unpredictable", I said.
We reached the location. He get down the car and came toward me to open my window the he held his hand toward me.
I held his hand and got down the car.
We went inside. The party venue was amazing. I had never attended party like this.
Perer was holding my hand whole the time.
He saw his mom and take me to her. His mom was very sweet unlike Nick's mom.
She is veey welcoming. When she heard about that I am his date, she was very happy.
We three were talking when I listened the familiar voice, " Peter"
I can never forget this voice. It's Nick
Peter saw him. He got excited. He went to hin and said, Finally you met"
Nick said," Yup"
Then Peter held my hand turned me toward Nick.
He said pointing toward me, " Nick meet her. she is my girlfriend. "
Then he pointed toward Nick and said, " He is Nick.... my childhood friend."
I was in shock. Whenever I tried to move on, something happened. Nick and me both were looking in each other's eyes.
There were many emotion. I wanted to hug this man even after his betrayal.
But my thought changed immediately when I saw Lydia.
Lydia came and said, " Peter, When did you have girlfriend. How did you met her."
Peter said, " we were in the same college in switzerland."

Suddenly I was feeling very suffocated. I can't stand here anymore.
I said to Peter, " I want a drink."
