As Alucard and the other four fight alongside the day creatures, Dracule and Elizabeth make their way in without fighting many vampires. Dracule was shaking, trying to stay calm. Elizabeth is constantly helping her, all the way to Dracula's study. Dracule stood just out of the way of the open doorway, where both could hear Dracula and Isaac. Dracule took a deep breath and went into the room with shaking steps. She did not draw her sword or use any of her powers; she stepped in and saw her father. Identical to her, but her eyes were as blue as her mother's.
"... Father..." Dracule said, her hands shaking. Isaac went to keep Dracule and Elizabeth from Dracula. Elizabeth moved to block him. Dracula placed his hand on Isaac's shoulder, notifying him to stand down. Dracule slowly made her way to her father, tears in her eyes.
"Daughter," his tone was gentle and sorrowful. Dracule broke down, crying, and clung to her father, crying into his chest. He hugged her close, petting her head, running his claws through her hair.
"I'm sorry," she sobbed into his chest, shaking. "I couldn't protect mother, I couldn't convince you not to commit genocide, I couldn't protect Alucard from that scar, I can't do anything!"
"Hush," Dracula soothed her, and held her close as he could. "You couldn't change anything. Alucard wanted this to end in the name of your mother, but it must endure in the name of your mother."
"I just wanted to keep my family," Dracule said, and she couldn't stop crying. "I couldn't even keep what's left of our family together,"
"That wasn't your fault, my dear daughter," Dracula soothed her. She and her father broke the hug. Dracule looked up at her father, tears soaking her cheeks. "I know Alucard is here now."
"... I needed to say goodbye..." Dracule sniffled, "I couldn't say goodbye to mother when she..."
Dracule silently dried his daughter's tears. He knew this was hard on her, being between her brother and her father. She had seen her mother die, couldn't ease her father's grief, turned to anger, and couldn't even fight against her family. He knew Dracule had killed the Bishop who orchestrated the death of his wife and his daughter's mother. He knew Dracule wouldn't be able to endure a fight against her own father.
"... Go," Dracula said, cradling his child's face, pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You don't have a place in this fight."
"But..."
"Dracule, you are my daughter, and you have enough trouble with this; I will not see you rip your heart apart in fighting me." Dracula pressed his forehead against his child's. "You will always be my precious daughter."
"... You will always be my father," Dracule said, her voice trembling terribly. Her steps were shaky as she left the study. Elizabeth helped her head out to a different place in the castle. Dracule couldn't stop shaking as Elizabeth helped her get to another room. She couldn't stop crying while Elizabeth helped her. Elizabeth followed Dracule more so wherever she was going.
