Shit....That scared my soul out of me!
I stare at the Golden cat that was staring at me curiously...it matched my memories of Millie...But a little different, she looks more wild, not at all like a cat that was brought up inside the house all the time…
Which also made me curious of this black mass in the corner or my room
I slowly moved to that corner covering my nose with my hands...i broke one of the branches of the overgrown plant she had inside the apartment..
'Is she even allowed to grow these??'
i walked closer to the smelly mass, and poked it...ofcourse i was hit with a sudden pungent disgusting smell..but i sawsomething
'bones…kittens??'
I turned around and looked at the cat still gazing over me
"Were these your children?" I voiced out.
"Meow" somehow that felt like a yes...how do i know that?
'Must be Jenny'
By now I had reached one conclusion, somehow I had a clear idea of what happend here...
It seems like this cat was brought indoors with no idea how to survive like a stray cat. Desperation and hunger must have driven her out of this apartment.
'No one was here to give her food'
According to Jenny's memories...she was pregnant a few months before her accident… I mean she herself took her to the breeding centre…
'that explains it,she must have escaped after giving birth realizing that her owner was never coming back or something...i mean there was no one to feed her or her kittens'
Suddenly I had another wash of sadness over me, it seemed like I betrayed her too. I reached my hands out to pet her, Millie flinched away from me....
"Yea, i expected that, Have you lost trust in me too Millie?"
somehow i felt like talking to the cat that seemed to stare into my soul like it knew who i was...
"Illiana...remember the name....god! What am i even doing" *sigh*
I got up and shoved all my feelings into my mind, just like I did when I was Illiana...
'here i thought i would have time to spare to think and revisit all her memories'
i looked around
'looks i'll be busy for the next four days....first off need to get rid of the smell if i want to order take out or something..(if i have money that is)'
