"What just happened?!"
All the members of the Freya Familia stood frozen, their faces blank. They looked at one another in disbelief, even pinching each other's faces. Only after feeling pain did they realize this wasn't a dream.
Lord Hedin had been sent flying by that person!
Their hearts roared in denial. Impossible! That was a Level 6 powerhouse—one of the few in all of Orario, the most versatile magic swordsman!
Then what level was this man?!
Roy didn't care what the Freya Familia thought. The Level 7 Experience Card only lasted thirty minutes.
After being schemed against by that madwoman Freya and nearly dying in the Dungeon, the anger burning in his heart had to be repaid in full—on them!!
Boom!
Roy's leg muscles tightened as he shot toward the Freya Familia members like a rocket. His speed was so terrifying that it was invisible to the naked eye.
The force of his step shattered the ground, collapsing the earth within dozens of meters into a crater.
Unstoppable, Roy plunged into their ranks and began a frenzied massacre.
Level 3 or Level 4—it made no difference. At this moment, Roy was unstoppable. Gods or Buddhas alike would fall before him!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
One Freya Familia member after another was blasted away, smashing into solid walls and embedding into them in a "大" shape.
Bones shattered. Bodies hung limp, barely alive.
"Ha!"
A Level 4 swordsman rushed forward, swinging his blade down with full force. But in Roy's eyes, his explosive speed was as slow as an ant.
Roy casually threw a punch into the man's chest. A dull thud echoed as the swordsman traced a beautiful arc through the air.
He landed three or four kilometers away, carving out a massive crater. The thunderous impact terrified nearby residents, turning their faces pale.
"Mages, prepare your spells!"
"It's too late—call for reinforcements!"
Panicked voices rang out. The Freya Familia had never been so disheveled.
Their discipline was unquestionable. Even in the gravest crises, they could remain calm and composed. But the enemy they faced now was Roy with cheats enabled.
No technique—only raw stats.
With Level 7's maximum ability values, Roy felt endless power surging through his body. If he didn't release it, it might even tear him apart.
In less than three minutes, every member Hedin had brought lay in pools of blood, their lives uncertain.
"Not enough… not enough!!"
Roy's voice trembled with suppressed frenzy. He wanted to unleash all this power—all this fury.
While Roy dealt with the members, Hedin retraced the path of his earlier impact and returned to the area.
The bones of his face had been shattered. His once cold and handsome visage was crooked to one side, utterly ruining the "elven noble" image.
Hedin's expression was dark beyond measure, though a trace of shock lingered deep in his eyes.
By then, reinforcements from the Freya Familia had arrived. Several squads swiftly navigated the labyrinthine streets of Daedalus Street and gathered here.
Hegni Ragnar—Level 6 executive, known alongside Hedin Selland as the "White and Black Knights"!
Allen Fromel—Level 6 vice-captain, titled the "Goddess's Chariot," also called the fastest adventurer in the city, even surpassing Ottar in speed!
"What is this…?"
When the two arrived with thirty to forty members and saw the devastation before them, shock and fury filled their hearts.
They knew better than anyone the strength of their comrades. Their first reaction was disbelief.
They would rather believe they had fallen under an illusion.
"My destined rival… what happened here?"
Hegni looked at Hedin in astonishment. It was the first time he had seen him in such a sorry state.
"Explain yourself, you worm!" Allen snapped, his temper flaring.
"Silence. This guy is abnormal. Everyone follows my command!" Hedin ordered coldly.
"ROAR—!"
Roy would not wait for Hedin to organize a formation. A beast-like growl erupted from his throat. Distorted by the Phantom Mask, it sounded like the roar of a dragon.
Deafening!
Combined with the sight of over a dozen fallen high-level adventurers nearby, the overwhelming sensory impact was enough to shatter the morale of the less steady.
Of course, there were exceptions.
Hearing the dragon-like roar, the black-haired catman Allen reacted as if triggered. Madness and killing intent surged across his face as he charged forward without hesitation.
Seeing Allen rush ahead, Hedin cursed under his breath. He hadn't even had time to reveal the most crucial piece of information. "What a troublesome man!"
This was the Freya Familia—fighting individually.
Captain Ottar, vice-captains Allen, Hedin, Hegni, the Four War Leaders—they formed different factions. If they were truly united, how could the Loki Familia ever stand beside them as "the strongest"?
Still, as a top-tier commander, Hedin quickly adjusted.
"Hegni—Allen will be the main attacker. Focus on the Berserker. I'll provide rear support!"
"My destined rival, I know what to do!"
"Unsheathe and bloom, Magic Sword King's Radiance. At the cost of reason and sacrificial blood, until the feast ends—slaughter to your heart's content!"
With the chant complete, Hegni's previously gentle expression hardened into cold resolve.
"Black Demon Sword"!
This peculiar magic had no special effect except activating his second personality, making him far more battle-hungry. Otherwise, his chuunibyou tendencies would restrain him mid-fight.
Allen and Hegni attacked in tandem.
Moving at high speed, Allen—whose agility surpassed even Hegni's—arrived first. His silver spear transformed into a venomous serpent, thrusting toward Roy at a vicious and unpredictable angle.
Worthy of the title "fastest in the city."
Roy narrowed his eyes. Without Level 7's maximum stats, he might have been instantly killed.
Locking onto Allen, Roy deftly avoided the spear's tip and reached for his throat.
Just as Roy was about to touch him—
Allen's pupils shrank. He retreated over ten meters in a flash, cold sweat breaking out as he stared at his spear and the "Berserker." Realization dawned on him.
No wonder Hedin had been reduced to such a state.
As Allen was forced back, Hegni followed immediately.
Hegni's cursed blade, "Sacrificial Abyss," prevented wounds from healing, delayed recovery, and expanded the range of slashes. Roy dared not be careless.
Activating magic, golden lightning surged from his palm and formed into a sword.
Yet in others' eyes, the lightning appeared distorted—like flames, flowing water, or other strange elements.
Roy swung his lightning blade toward the charging Hegni.
Clang!
Two sharp sword lights collided, producing a metallic crash. Roy and Hegni locked blades, and the ground beneath their feet cracked outward.
"You're Level 7?!!"
Feeling the overwhelming force from the other side, Hegni was pressed down, unable to raise his head. His voice trembled with disbelief.
