Alex reached out and tossed the car aside. The moment the car flew away, a rope glowing with golden light had already wrapped around the shaft of the kryptonite spear.
The Lasso of Truth!
Just as Wonder Woman was about to pull the spear toward her, Doomsday sprinted over from the ground and slammed into her fiercely, knocking her flying away. The Lasso of Truth slid off the spear.
After knocking Wonder Woman away, Doomsday roared and leapt into the air again, swinging its arm and smashing its fist into Alex, sending him flying.

A moment later, Clark lifted the car and slowly rose into the sky. After glancing once more at Metropolis, now sunk in darkness with flames flashing from time to time, Superman turned around and flew toward Kansas, carrying the car above his head.
