Chapter 34.
Tori's POV
I just stood there staring at the blood coating my fingers, my mind struggling to process what had just happened.
The sting spreading through the side of my head grew sharper by the second, but somehow, it still wasn't enough to distract me from the sound of their laughter.
They were laughing and the throbbing pain was felt in my entire body. I looked around while I hope the guards saw this and these were going to interfere, but it was nothing.
Like hurting someone for no reason suddenly made them stronger. Anger coursed through my veins while I tried to figure out my emotions.
One of the girls folded her arms underneath her chest while the other two stood beside her with expressions filled with satisfaction. They looked proud of themselves, almost relieved that they finally got a reaction out of me.
I slowly lifted my gaze toward them.
"You missed," I said calmly, even though my head was throbbing badly.
