Chapter 37
Tori's POV
I pushed myself upright slowly, wincing immediately as pain spread through almost every part of my body.
My muscles ached terribly, my legs still weak from everything that had happened yesterday.
The room around me felt too quiet. I wonder what kind of test they had for us today. My eyes roamed around the room and it was quite quiet which was really weird.
Realization crashed into me almost instantly. The wish which I had used yesterday night before sleeping didn't work. I still felt sore in a lot of places.
My fingers tightened against the edge of the bed while panic slowly crept into my chest. It was supposed to work. Every other time I had used it, something happened. Why didn't it work this time around?
"Good morning Tori. I hope you had a good night's rest?" Ellie's voice interrupted my thoughts which made me almost jump out of my bed. "What happened to you? It looks like you have just seen a ghost?
