Chapter 31
ARIES POV
I was in my room when I suddenly heard Jay screaming I came out of my room at the same time Kuya also came out from his room. What we saw shocked us someone was pulling Jay out of the our private garden. They saw us and and they quickly pushed her into a van. She got kidnapped from her own house. They drove away with her in a van. Kuya took his car out and we started tailing them. We lost them once but quickly found them again. The way felt in a way it made me feel uneasy. After following them for quite sometime a building came into view the very same building that destroyed everything for three years. Now that everything is going normal then this comes back in my life. We ran inside quickly and saw Ares my biological father and Yuri. WHAT THE HELL!!! We started fighting them. Their were some other men that came from nowhere we fought them too. Then I reach Yuri and started beating him up. I felt great satisfaction in slapping and punching him. While fighting himbi heard a gun shot. Kuya shot Ares and Yuri ran away. We quickly found Jay she was lying unconscious so we took her to a hospital. Doctors were checking her and we were waiting outside. Mumma and Flora came running towards us.
Mumma "how is she. Who were the people that kidnapped her. How did she get kidnapped from home."
Kuya " Right now doctors are checking her. Yuri and Ares kidnapped her and they took her to the same building as three years ago."
Flora" oh my God! It's risky for her to remember "
Aries " what do you mean? What risks?"
Flora " last year she was fed up with not being able to practice sword fighting. So she forcefully tried to remember and she fainted. Doctor warmed us if this happens again she might go into coma. Being in that place might have triggered her memories."
That scared me more than anything. I hope she wakes up fast . After sometime the doctor comes out.
Doctor " there are no physical wounds. But her mind is very disturbed. Does she have traumatic past"
Kuya Angelo " yes, she has episodic amnesia"
Doctor " Something triggered her memories. We can just wait and see how her brain reacts to the memories "
JAY'S POV
Suddenly I stared hearing voice of a man screaming. I think my memories are coming back.
I was 5 years old i was doing normal kiddish stuff and my mother's then husband came and took hot iron from her hand and pressed it on my back burning me. I screamed like a banshee in pain. There were more memories of him beating me up. Next major one was when different husband was having temper tantrum so he beat me up senseless. That was my last memory with my mother after that Lola took me in. In some of those memories before all the traumatic memories I saw my brother. I need to know his name i need to remember his name so that I could find him. I hear mumma screaming Aries's name and him calling her mumma. Aries is my brother. Next my memory shifts to the time me and Aries got kidnapped. Ares used to feed Aries something that would make him unconscious and then take me away in a different room. He used bring small animals and torture them and make them bleed infront of me , then he used to say that he'll do the same to as I was useless for him he only wanted Aries not me. He then slapped me hard and my lip bled that was the first time I tasted blood. Suddenly I started beating the shit out of him. Then next I had a broken glass peice slowly charging towards Aries NO! I don't know where he came from i stabbed him.
I need to wake up and ask for his forgiveness.
After sometime
I started hearing some noises. Slowly my eyes opened I saw some of my section E friends but they looked very different. They looked like grown up very adult like.
Kit " look she is awake . Hi Jay"
Jay " why do you all look so different "
Kit " you see Jay ....(hesitating)...you are waking up after thirty years."
Jay " what?"
I lost important years of my life . Everyone lived their life . What happened to Lola, Keifer , Aries , Kuya and Flora.
Mayo " when you were in coma did you not hear us. Even Keifer used to come here with his wife and son."
I mean i am not angry he moved on. I am happy for him he had a good life. But it still broke my heart into pieces. That made me cry.
Just then someone shouts from behind.
AUTHOR'S POV
Keifer " what the hell is happening? Why is she crying?I leave Jay for few minutes and this happened"
Jay's heartbeat is erratic. She is crying . Keifer presses a button to call a doctor. Angelo and Flora arrives and Flora immediately goes to Jay to calm her down.
Jay (while sobbing hard)"where are your kids?(looking at Keifer)where are you kids and wife . Who did you marry?"
Keifer (clueless) " what kid ?what wife?"
Flora Angelo and Keifer looking clueless.
Doctor arrives asks everyone to go out.
Outside the hospital room.
Angelo (angrily)" what the hell was she saying ? Speak up"
Kit " we just tried to prank her . We did not know that she will react like this"
Keifer " what prank? Who pranks a person in hospital?"
Kit " we got ready as mature grown ups and when she woke up we told her that she has woken up after 30 years and that everyone moved on even Keifer and that he has a wife and a kid that he used to bring here to meet her."
Keifer in his mind sometimes they do behave like dumb fools.
Just then doctor comes outside and tells us she fine and that we can meet her. Me Angelo and Flora goes inside.
Jay " you all look as if you are 18 again and Kuya you don't look old at all"
Angelo" your classmates pranked you . You have woken up after 3 days not 30 years . Do you think I will look like a old man in my 50's."(squinting his eyes)
That made her cry again
Aries (coming in the room)" crybaby"
Jay stopped crying and kept staring at Aries.
Flora " we should go outside and let them talk"
