Varney
I was nervous all the way to the seniors' room, then I was asked to go on in by myself. I hoped that he'd be decent and not in the middle of sex this time as I tentatively opened the door.
"C'mon in, human." The leader drawled from his position by the vanity table in the middle of the room. I swallowed emptily as I walked forward.
"Do you know why I sent for you at such a time?" He asked while staring at me in the mirror. He was watching his reflection as he applied some makeup on his face.
"No, I don't." I responded faintly, wishing he'd just dismiss me right now.
He grinned at me in the mirror. "Heard you prepared a fine meal tonight, why didn't you bring me any?"
My eyes widened and my heartbeat picked up a little. "O- oh, I had no idea you'd be interested. Tomorrow, I'll do that."
He flashed me a grin. "Sounds good. I'll be looking forward to it."
He turned around in his seat and fully faced me as he spoke next. "I sent it to you tonight cause you're gonna accompany me somewhere."
My eyes widened in panic and my heart pounded hard against my ribs.
"Huh?" I whispered, already feeling faint.
"I won't repeat myself." His smile slipped and my heartbeat accelerated even more.
"B— but, I don't wanna go anywhere. I'm sorry but I'd rather just be sleeping tonight." I breathed out fast, already starting to feel worried and uncomfortable.
"Well, sweet thing, I wasn't really asking you before, was I? I was telling you." He drawled as he got to his feet and walked past me. That's when I noticed he was dressed in sparkling tight pants, and a pink top that fully hugged his body. His hair was slicked back as well and it was paired with cool looking boots.
And it seems like he's going to… a party…
"But, senior, please—"
He cut me off. "Enough. You're coming with me. But don't fret, I'm not taking you anywhere dangerous, it's just a party."
My heartbeat accelerated once again. Aside from the fact that I can't ever trust a word he says, I feel so nervous cause I just can't trust him no matter what.
"I don't wanna go to any party, please, leader." I tried again, my hands clasped against my chest.
He narrowed his eyes at me, now standing by a tall closet.
"Would you like to be punished then?" He questioned and I stiffened while staring at him, watching as his lips twitched.
"There. That's what I thought. Now, come over here and get changed."
My eyes widened. "Changed?" I blurted.
"Of course. You aren't coming to me dressed in that mess." He nodded at my outfit and my cheeks flushed in embarrassment as I trudged forward. I still felt so queasy and uncomfortable and I wanted to be sent to my room instead, but he made it clear that this was out of my control.
He gave me a loose enough white shirt to slip into. The pants weren't too tight and I was relieved when I slipped them on. They were the nicest things I've ever worn, and I just knew it looked good on me without checking my reflection.
"There, now you're presentable enough." The leader declared, sounding pleased as hell.
When we left his office, my legs in comfortable sneakers and my body in soft clothes, I felt uncomfortable and afraid, like something bad might happen to me tonight. My heart kept pounding hard as we walked out of the bronze dorm building. The security at the gate didn't ask questions, he just let us pass after sighting the leader, and that shocked me cause after curfew, I didn't think people were still supposed to be allowed out the gates.
He began to walk, leaving me no choice but to walk beside him. The moon was bright tonight so it was no hassle seeing properly.
"What do you know about vampires, human?" He spoke and I stiffened, my heart accelerating even more while I shifted around in discomfort.
"Uh, that they're fast and strong." I muttered awkwardly, my mind already back to last night whereby I had an encounter with a vampire for the first time.
He snorted, then his eyes briefly raked over me. "So, how then do you explain how you were able to escape one unscathed?" He asked and I stiffened, the discomfort feeling within me rising.
"I- I already said the truth, sir. I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't bring the vampire down myself, no one did."
"So who did it? The wind?"
"Maybe he hated my blood and passed out from the horrible taste." I supplied weakly because I've run out of things to say.
The leader shot me a flat look before speaking. "Well, that's definitely not the case seeing as the vampire told me your blood is the finest he'd ever tasted."
My eyes widened in shock and surprise, and as my mouth fell open, he cut me off.
"We're here,"
My heartbeat picked up as I turned to stare at the grinding we just arrived in front of, and my eyes widened at what was written at the very top of the ridiculously large building.
"Platinum dormitory..?" I whispered while my stomach instantly knotted in nerves.
"Ah, yes… this is where the party is taking place." He drawled and my heart pounded even faster in nerves. All the warnings I got today began to ring through my head one after the other, one of them being that I shouldn't ever come to this dorm.
"But—" I opened my mouth to object, to tell him that I didn't want to go into that building, this building where royalty lived, including other important people.
But he cut me off by grabbing my wrist and pulling me through the gates, the main entrance and into an elevator.
I stood stiffly across from him, my stomach in nervous knots and my head reeling hard. I felt so scared, so nervous, making me feel like I might puke.
"C- can you please tell me why you're bringing me to this party tonight? I'm not important, nor am I special…
"You're right, you're none of those things. I'm taking you to this party thing now cause you're gonna be killed tonight."
My eyes bulged out of their sockets and I felt my legs wobble underneath me before he let out a laugh and waved me off.
"You looked so scared, I was pulling your legs. No one's getting killed, err just going to this party to have fun, okay?"
I couldn't respond before the door opened, and we were stopping in front of a door where loud, muted music was coming out from.
The door opened after a knock, then we were ushered into the middle of a bubbling party. A lot of people were on the dance floor, moving against each other in the most obscene way ever.
Boys and girls, in twos and threes were all doing something nasty at different corners of the large room. Some were blatantly making out, some had their hands underneath someone's skirt, or in their blouse. While others were doing something much worse…
"I'll be back to introduce you to someone." The leader said to him, and I opened my mouth to ask him not to leave me by myself in here but he already disappeared in the middle of the crowd.
Great, just greet.
I stood awkwardly in the middle of the dance floor, completely at a loss of where to do or think. And I believe everyone's a supernatural being in here except me.
I was basically a fish in the middle of sharks right now.
I shifted in discomfort, hoping none of them would notice and start trying to find me unnecessary trouble right now.
I let my eyes wander around, and as my eyes darted to the left, a choked sound left my mouth at the sight of the male leaf seated in the couch there.
And his intense eyes were on me.
