His long index finger gently tapped the shocking inscription on the title page:

Lord Red suddenly leaned forward. The vertical purple pupils behind his mask glinted with an unnatural light, his voice soft enough to be terrifying.

Louis's tail instantly bristled, and he scrambled to explain.
