Riley Perry's eyes instantly lit up. "Thank you so much, Assistant Hayes! I'll have a glass of watermelon juice and a glass of orange juice."
Assistant Hayes promptly went out to prepare the juices.
When he came back in, Cole Sinclair shot him a look that was hard to put into words. An outsider might have thought Riley Perry was his boss, not the other way around.
"Mr. Sinclair, are you ready?"
Cole Sinclair closed the file he'd just finished, then went to the lounge. After washing his hands, he sat on the sofa where Riley Perry had already laid out their meal. "Mr. Sinclair, hurry up! Oh, and which juice do you want?"
Cole Sinclair glanced at her. "Are you sure you're really letting me choose?"
'He didn't need to think about it to know she'd ordered two glasses because she wanted to try both flavors.'
Her intentions read, Riley Perry dropped the pretense. "I don't care. I'm drinking both. You can have the leftovers."
