The next second, Sophie Wexler shook her head hard, knowing it was impossible, and cast the jumbled thoughts aside.

"Does His Majesty want to see me about something?"
At her words, Shawn Thorne shook his head. He didn't know either. "I just volunteered to deliver my father's message."
That was right, he had volunteered. This task was originally meant for someone else, but he happened to find out about it. When he heard they were summoning the beautiful lady who had saved him, he'd eagerly volunteered for the job.
