Sophie Wexler woke up in Cillian Forrest's arms yet again.
She opened her eyes, her mind still fuzzy. It took several minutes for her awareness to slowly return.
Feeling that she was once again holding him tightly, Sophie's expression froze for a moment before she quickly regained her composure.
Over the past few days, she had grown numb to the fact that she treated Cillian Forrest like a stuffed doll every night.
It wasn't that she hadn't tried other methods to stop it, like wrapping herself into a ball with the blankets or putting a large pillow between them, and so on.
But the next day, the outcome was always the same: the balled-up blanket would be cast aside, and the pillow barrier would inevitably end up either at the foot of the bed or on the floor.
She had even started to suspect that a certain someone was orchestrating all of this while she was asleep.
But she had no proof!
In the end, she couldn't be bothered to dwell on it. 'So be it.'
