Wei Ming arrived at the villa with the family doctor. After greeting Chu Yao, he went upstairs to check on Lu Xize.
After a thorough examination, the doctor told Chu Yao and Wei Ming, "Mrs. Lu, Assistant Wei, Mr. Lu's high fever was triggered by a cold. It's not serious. After he gets this IV drip, he just needs to eat lightly and drink plenty of hot water for the next couple of days. He'll be fine."
Chu Yao nodded, watching as the doctor set up the IV for Lu Xize.
"Does he need to take any other medicine?"
Chu Yao asked. The family doctor paused, giving Wei Ming a slightly perplexed look.
Wei Ming, however, remained composed. He paused for a moment before saying to Chu Yao, "Mrs. Lu, Mr. Lu... he doesn't like taking medicine."
'Chu Yao had noticed before that Lu Xize refused to take medicine. But who actually likes it? He's sick, so of course he has to take his medicine.'
