Almost 5 years passed and Mariam gave birth to twin sons:Dimitri and Shio.These babies had black hair and light brown eyes.Little Davit was very excited when he heard,that his mother gave birth to his siblings.He was almost all the time by his mother's side and was caressing the twins.His father was leading the agricultural issues:squeezing the cows,looking after huge apple and pear trees,making cheese,sour cream,curds and yoghurt for the noble,whose last name was Orbeliani.This man was the one who was paying Giorgi.Orbeliani doubled the money he used to give him due to Giorgi's sons.Everything was fine,but Giorgi couldn't manage to find peace in his thoughts after old fortune teller's those terrifying words.Something inside him was making him feel,that soon he would be forced to be separated from his eldest son,which he loved the most,because he was reminded of his wife everytime he looked at him.Davit had golden brown hair and light brown eyes,like Mariam.However,the twins looked liked him.
It was the 5th October of 1779.In the morning,Giorgi prepared his horse and wooden carriage.He put a lot of apples,pears,jars with milk,curds,yoghurt,sour cream and boxes full of cheese.He was going to visit his master and get paid for his hardwork.He saw this as the opportunity of spending time with his beloved son.Mariam didn't oppose and let him take Davit with him.Giorgi made Davit sit down where the goods were.Davit was craving apple and took one.He almost ate it,but his father prohibited him.
-Davit,our master-Orbeliani lives nearby.You will eat this fruit at our house.We won't eat these apples.All of these are for his family.We have our own share.So,don't eat anything from here,okay?
-Okay,dad!I will do as you have just told me.Are we going or not?Why isn't this horse moving?
-Giddy up,horse!-Giorgi hit the whip on the horse's back and the obedient animal immediately moved.
Davit was sitting behind his father and was observing everything around him.Soon,he saw 5 suspicious masked men behind the bushes.Little boy concerned and touched Giorgi on the back with his right hand:
-Dad!Thugs are around us,behind those bushes,on the left!Look over there!
Giorgi looked immediately towards that direction and as soon as he saw those fishy masked men,he realized,that that fortune teller was actually telling the truth.
He sighed deeply and encouraged Davit:
-My son!I don't have any weapon to protect you.You know,peasants are not allowed to have swords,daggers and guns.But,I will fight against them with my bare hands!
As soon as he said this,the thugs surrounded the carriage.Giorgi jumped down and tried to fight against them with all his might,but for no avail.These bandits turned out to be excellent warriors and 3 of them beated him.2 of them caught the boy with the rope and kidnapped him.In the blink of an eye,they disappeared with Davit.Giorgi,who was fallen on the ground and was bleeding,just saw the carriage that took his beloved son to an unknown place.
