It was evening.Giorgi didn't return.Mariam was extremely worried.She was alone at home with 2 babies.She felt herself worn out from awaiting her husband and she made up her mind.She went out after making her twins fall asleep.Young woman was lost in her own thoughts:
-"Where on earth are you,my love?Did anything bad happen to you?No!I don't believe,that you are dead.There is no doubt about this!"
Fortunately,she knew the path towards her master Orbeliani.After walking for a while,she came across a man fell on the ground.There was blood on his face,hands and torn trousers.When she came closer to him,she recognised her husband and yelled:
-Giorgi!Who the hell did this atrocity to you?You are beaten up!Why would anyone beat you?Wake up!!!
Mariam shaked Giorgi.He didn't regain consciousness at once.His wife was on pins and needles.She burst into tears and thought,that Giorgi really passed away.However,her tears fell on his cheeks and he opened his eyes.Then,he touched Mariam on her right hand and looked at her weeping beautiful face.When Mariam felt warmth on her hand,she looked at her hand and saw,that her husband touched her.She smiled for herself and caressed his hand.
-Giorgi!Why are you in this horrible state?What happened?Tell me,please!
-As you know,I and our son were going to go to the house of our master in order to deliver the goods.Thugs were ambushing behind bushes.Davit saw them and told me to look over there.I told him,that even though I had no weapon to defend him,I would fight against them with my bare hands.And,when those scoundrels surrounded the carriage,I fought them.They turned out to be much stronger and I failed to protect our son.They captured him with rope.They made him get on their carriage and disappeared.Afterwards,I lost consciousness out of getting beaten up strongly and here you have just woken me up.We lost our Davit for good!The prophecy came true!
-I see!You are the real man!At least,you did your best to protect him!Don't blame yourself!I didn't believe in that woman's words,but what she said,truly took place!
