"Megan, is my schedule for next week full?" Amara asked over the phone.
"Yes, your schedule is completely filled, Ma'am. Would you like me to send it to you—"
"I want to go to Shanghai."
"Shanghai?"
"Yes, my husband is going there." Amara glanced toward the bedroom door. Kaisar still hadn't fallen asleep, even though it was already past midnight.
Kaisar had once told her that the medication he took was a high-dose treatment that came with side effects such as insomnia and unstable emotions.
"You know I'm really worried, Megan. I feel like his condition has been acting up more often lately, but he never wants to be honest with me."
"Is Sir unwell right now?" Megan asked.
"Yes… but I think he's still going to Shanghai. His schedule is next week."
"In that case, I'll try to clear your schedule for next week. I hope you can focus on Mr. Kaisar's condition."
"Thank you."
