"Good… because I plan to kill you."
Luna's eyes shifted to the King after she said those words. Though her heart was pounding and her breathing came in desperate pants, she still stood there, amber eyes glaring into the King's green ones.
Draven's lips twitched. That was the only reaction Luna saw that told her the King had heard her words. Apart from that, the man didn't flinch, nor did he look like he held any regard for her.
Was she a joke to him? Luna asked herself, her breathing becoming faster and more rushed.
"And how do you intend to do that, my darling?"
Luna breathed in deeply and exhaled through parted pink lips, yet it did nothing to calm her raging heart. Looking at the King, she felt a sudden urge to stab him dead right there, but she couldn't do it.
She took a step back, her lips trembling slightly. "In…in your dee,pest sleep I-I'm go,going to stab you!" Luna stuttered.
