The words of Belle played slowly in her head. She had failed them all—she had failed her dead pack members, her parents. And now, she had lost Belle and Aunt Marion in the process.
Luna could see the hurt in her sister's face from last night after the King had made the declaration. But with everything she had told her last night, she had assumed that Belle had moved on and made peace with her. She was hurt over her sister's words, as Belle was the one person she had expected to be by her side through all this.
But with this, she wondered if her sister would ever be able to see her the same way, or if she would ever be able to see her again.
