Today was Star Group's anniversary party. As promised, Ellen wouldn't wear anything too fancy to the party. Before attending, she had her makeup done at her residence while waiting for Flint to get ready. She was leaving with Flint to avoid arriving late again, as she had before.
It didn't take long for her to be ready for the party, wearing a simple pastel pink dress. She grabbed her sling bag and headed for the main door. As soon as she opened it, she was greeted by a sweet smile from her best friend.
Her head hung low in shame, unable to control her pounding heartbeat as she saw her best friend in a stunning tuxedo. "Have you been waiting for me for a long?"
Flint glanced at the luxury watch on his left wrist. "You took a long time to put on your makeup. I told you not to wear too much makeup."
Ellen pursed her lips. "Even though I did my makeup as usual. You're the one who couldn't wait for me patiently."
