"Pfffft….! He-hemorrhoids…!"
"Stop laughing!"
The platinum-haired Amelia Edemsworth couldn't hold back at all and burst into laughter, causing the petite black-haired girl in an oversized male's uniform to cry out angrily with her face crimson red from embarrassment.
The two of them were in Amelia's room, surrounded by various barriers preventing anyone from eavesdropping on them.
Amelia was rolling around on her bed, still laughing, while the other girl was standing up and only leaning against the wall by the bathroom door.
"I don't get it! Out of all the ailments that could have run me to the restroom, why hemorrhoids!?"
The petite black-haired girl, teary-eyed from shame, complained while biting her lips.
"He must have smelled blood."
"Eh…?"
"Haha~ Haaa... Wait, what?"
The last person in the room spoke up with a dismissive shrug, causing both the black-haired girl and even the laughing Amelia to flinch and gasp.
The two of them focused on the third girl, a tall silver-haired Saria Vallhall seated nonchalantly on the chair by Amelia's desk.
"Those of Vallhall's bloodline have sharper senses than your average humans. I can smell it too… not a heavy flow, hmm? Lucky you."
Taking note of the stares focused on her, Saria rolled her eyes and revealed before turning her head towards the black-haired girl and taking a few obvious sniffs before declaring and scoffing grumpily.
'!!!"
"!?"
Upon receiving that revelation, the black-haired girl suddenly grabbed her shirt and pulled it as far down as she could to cover her waist while Amelia sat upright and stared between her and Saria.
"Wait… then, are you telling me that the illusion spell I put on Blanid was seen through by him from the start!?"
"!"
Amelia gasped in shock, causing the black-haired girl to freeze up…
"What? Why would it?"
But it was clear that her assumption took Saria by surprise.
"You just said his senses are sharper than human's! Can't he smell that Blanid's a girl then!?"
"...!"
Amelia gasped and Blanid turned her head towards Saria so fast she almost snapped her neck.
"Wha…? Not THAT much sharper! We're not dogs you know!? Everyone has a slightly different scent so we can tell people apart by that, but that's it! And isn't Trashsard thinking that Justin… umm… I mean isn't Trashsard thinking that Blanid's period is hemorrhoids, enough of a proof that he is fully convinced she is a boy?!"
"...oh… That's right…"
But the claim certainly angered the taken aback silver-haired girl who called out in disbelief, reminding the other two about the facts, which made Amelia lean back and look away while letting out a small voice of realization.
"You figured her out pretty quick…"
"I'm not an incompetent idiot like Trashsard is, though. And I didn't find out just because of her scent either. Not to mention that I'm a proper lady and hemorrhoids are not the first thing that comes to my mind when I talk to someone who has cramps and a lingering scent of blood around them."
The platinum-haired girl pointed out, causing the silver-haired one to roll her eyes and groan in annoyance before explaining condescendingly.
"Hey… How come you even started talking about hemorrhoids? Is that a subject that just comes up between guys…? And offering help with it just out of the blue, too?"
"W-with all due respect! I-I don't want to talk about this anymore!"
Saria then glanced over at Blanid, but the petite black-haired girl faced the wall and declared a little bit too hasty, making herself look very suspicious.
"I-instead we should talk about why the two of you dislike each other that much!"
She added hurriedly, trying to make up for that mishap, and glanced back at the silver-haired girl.
"He started it! He started hating me for no reason! I'm done with being the one to try and patch up something I have no fault in!"
Saria took the bait instantly, snapping back angrily while glaring at Blanid with her golden eyes.
