"ROTSARD VALLHALL! AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE HOUSE TREEDOR I WAS BESTOWED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ESCORTING YOU TO THE CAPITAL WHERE YOU WILL FACE YOUR DEATH BY THE HANDS OF NOBLE YOUNG LADY MARY TREEDOR FRO THE HEINOUS ACT OF VIOLENCE YOU COMMITTED AGAINST HER YOUNGER BROTHER, NOBLE YOUNG LORD HENRY TREEDOR! ACCEPT YOUR FATE WITH DIGNITY, OR I WILL DRAG YOU OUT IN SHAME!"
It was a peaceful day in the middle of the second term of the academic year until a heavily armored man with an entourage of similarly dressed warriors and war mages showed up in front of the door to Rotsard's dormitory room and announced proudly in a thundering voice while slamming his armored fists against the cold wooden door.
"DO NOT TRY TO HIDE! YOU FAILED TO SHOW UP ON TIME, SHOWCASING YOUR COWARDICE TO EVERYONE IN THE KINGDOM, BUT YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE YOUR FATE! WE HAVE BEEN AUTHORISED BY THE ROYAL MAGICIAN TO UTILIZE THE TELEPORTATION SPELL TO GET YOU DIRECTLY INTO THE ARENA BYPASSING ALL THE RESTRICTIONS OF ITS IMPENETRABLE DEFENSES! YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE THE INEVITABLE!"
As he got no response, the man simply started banging on the door harder and shouting even louder, but nothing changed in the slightest, and he received no response or even the slightest reaction.
"NO MATTER WHAT YOU WILL ATTEMPT, WE RECEIVED THE PERMISSION TO USE ANY MEANS NECESSARY TO GET YOU, INCLUDING DAMAGING THE ROYAL ACADEMY'S PROPERTY AND…!"
The heavily armored man roared, reaching for the door and pushing on the door handle…

"...huh…?"
Only to stun himself into letting out a dumbfounded gasp when the door opened normally, as it was never locked in the first place.
"..."
With the door opening, the heavily armored man and a couple of others from his entourage got a perfect view on the completely empty room covered with a thin layer of fine ice crystals…
"That doesn't make sense… The vice headmaster, the headmaster, and even the Great Fae of Nature all swore that the bastard not only never left the Academy but holed himself in this room! Are… are they all collaborating with him!?"
One of the war mages stepped up to the heavily armored man and asked in a cautious voice.
"...no… The Great Fae of Nature has no reason to lie to us, and the other two would lose far too much if they attempted something like that… Let's check for a hiding spot first and then conduct an investigation… It's possible that the coward killed himself while attempting to make an escape."
"...!"
The heavily armored man shook his head slowly and commanded the others before kicking up some of the ice crystals, which made the war mage by his side flinch with a stunned expression.
