Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: Shock Caused by a Single Ninjutsu

The meaning of 'Bloodline' refers to the inheritance of blood relations and lineage. It refers to a type of 'heritability' produced after the Nature Transformation of a Ninjutsu reaches a certain level. There are two categories of 'Bloodline' that are widely known by Ninjas:

First, Bloodline Limit. Based on observations of existing subjects, such as the Uchiha and Hyuga of Konoha, and the Kaguya, Ice Release, and Hozuki Kekkei Clans of Kirigakure, it is roughly considered that one aspect is inheritance, and the other is the mixture of two types of Chakra Nature Transformations, where the resulting new Nature Transformation forms a Bloodline Limit.

Second, Kekkei Tōta. A type of Bloodline formed by the mixture of three types of Chakra Nature Transformations. The fame of 'Kekkei Tōta' even exceeds that of 'Bloodline Limit'—because the person who possesses it is Ōnoki.

The Sandaime Tsuchikage!

The final 'unknown' one is the Kekkei Mōra, which only became known to people after Kaguya appeared.

It is a powerful force formed by the fusion of seven Chakra attributes: Yin, Yang, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, and Lightning—it is already in the realm of gods, possessing incredible power. It is a power that can create and destroy space.

Ninjas with Bloodline Limits: A child from the Ice Release clan can awaken Ice Release as soon as they can walk, and can instantly kill a healthy adult. After training, by age four or five, they can possess strength at least above Chunin, equivalent to a Special Jonin—that power is an instinct to them, used as naturally as their own limbs. Children of the Kaguya clan will grow bone spurs from nowhere on their bodies, skewering people like candied haws. The Hozuki clan... when fighting them, one falls into a deep sense of powerlessness; a blade strike passes through as they turn into water, offering no resistance. Even if their attack power is weaker, they simply can't be killed... Anyone who has fought Kirigakure will understand that feeling of helplessness when facing a Bloodline Ninja. Kirigakure's 'Bloody Mist' policy is actually inextricably linked to these clans—

As inheritors of a Bloodline, these children do not need any formal Ninja education. They only need a harsh environment, like raising venomous insects, letting them slaughter each other. If they awaken their bloodline under a life-or-death crisis, they are qualified Ninjas.

The 'Ninja Academy' is something optional for Bloodline clans; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it's 'tasteless to eat but a pity to discard'... However, this is undoubtedly a natural, innate strength.

Born powerful.

Strength obtained through inheriting one's own Bloodline without the need for study or education... Ino displayed this incredible strength—in fact, the genius Princess Ino is far more powerful than those Bloodline Ninjas of the same age.

Limited by their perspective, the only comparison they could think of was 'Bloodline Limit,' especially those Bloodlines they had seen with their own eyes.

"Did you feel nervous teaching the clansmen on the first day?" Inoichi Yamanaka asked Ino after he returned.

Ino said with a proud look, "Not at all."

"Oh, you're really confident. What did you talk about today?"

"I briefly explained what Chakra is... They are all adults, so for some things, I told them to read the books themselves."

"Well, when I came back, I heard the clansmen saying our Princess Ino possesses incredible power and strength that cannot be measured against her peers... Have you researched some new Ninjutsu?"

Inoichi Yamanaka didn't know about 'Azure Flame.' He was too busy, and Ino wouldn't specifically show it off, only telling him more about her theoretical progress.

Upon hearing this, Ino gave a 'hehe' laugh and casually pointed her small hand at Inoichi Yamanaka's teacup:

"Biu!"

The teacup instantly turned red-hot, then turned into a puddle of liquid, burning a hole through the table. It dropped onto the floor with a 'clack' and burned through the floorboards again. A smell of burning wood smoke spread out, and Mrs. Yamanaka came out sniffing the air: "What are you doing? Is the house on fire?" Then, she also saw the holes in the table and floor.

Mrs. Yamanaka looked dazed. Having also never seen Azure Flame, she looked at Inoichi Yamanaka with a questioning gaze: What's going on?

"Haha, it's nothing, dear... just a Ninjutsu—" Inoichi Yamanaka took the responsibility upon himself. "When I just got back, I heard the clansmen say Ino has a very powerful Ninjutsu, so I asked her to demonstrate it..."

"Experimenting with Ninjutsu instead of going outside? At home?" Mrs. Yamanaka grumbled a bit and went back to the kitchen to continue preparing dinner.

Inoichi Yamanaka stroked his chin and said, "This Ninjutsu, the ultimate transformation of the Fire attribute? But it doesn't look like Fire Release at all..."

Aside from the momentary rise in air temperature that made one feel dry, hot, and difficult to breathe, not even a shadow of fire was seen.

If one had to say, it felt more like a Wind Release Ninjutsu—yet his teacup had been melted by high heat.

A high temperature capable of instantly melting ceramics... it was simply unimaginable. One must know that the temperature for firing ceramics is only over two thousand degrees, and that only makes them glow red, not melt. If this thing landed on a person, it would be more terrifying than any Kunai or Ninjutsu—wouldn't they turn into ashes in an instant, without even a chance to struggle?

Ino said, "It's not the ultimate, just three meridians playing a mixed note with the same sound at different pitches."

Ino made a very intuitive and simple analogy, saying, "It's like a combination of a standard 'do' and a 'do' an octave lower and an octave higher. Mixed together, it produces the current effect..."

Inoichi Yamanaka said, "What a powerful Ninjutsu!"

No signs—no need for hand seals, making it impossible for the opponent to see the prelude to this Ninjutsu, thus making it impossible to guard against.

Instant cast—fast speed, almost a flick of a finger and the Ninjutsu is already out.

Concealed—transparent to the point the flame color is almost invisible, with only some curling wisps at the edges, which are easily ignored at high speeds.

High temperature—instantly melting the most heat-resistant ceramics into liquid... this 'high temperature' might be considered a disadvantage—but in an actual battle, by the time someone feels this high temperature, would they even have the ability to dodge the attack of this Ninjutsu named 'Azure Flame'?

In fact, Inoichi Yamanaka also missed one thing, which was the defensive capability of this Ninjutsu. Facing such a Ninjutsu, shuriken, wooden puppets, the human body itself, and even Ninjutsu would appear extremely pale.

Everything would be burned to nothing under such extreme heat; it's simply impossible to break through such a layer of defense.
