Chapter 4 - Who is Lotus?

*knock knock*

"Come in!"

He blurted out without even caring to look up.

"How do you feel right now?"

Mr. Choi asked, while keeping the lunch he brought for the whimpering soul.

"Hehe I'm all good now" there was a tint of embarrassment on YongEul's face.

Mr. Choi gave him a side eye.

Sighing, he asked, "So what's all this about?"

YongEul gave in.

He knew there was no escape from Mr. Choi.

"Well, I'm kind of having some nightmares recently" YongEul looked down.

"Nightmares?"

Mr. Choi's face showed pure confusion.

YongEul conflicted with his inner self.

He slightly walked towards the couch.

"I can't categorize it! But it seems like I enjoy some of it"

Mr. Choi's face frowned at his statements.

YongEul slowly lifted his eyes to meet Mr. Choi's face, well let's say to read him.

His face depicted many emotions, it was as if he was analyzing all of it.

"Oh I see, so who's the woman?" Mr. Choi asked him, making his heart beat faster than ever.

He panicked.

"What woman?" YongEul spat out avoiding eye contact.

"The woman from your dreams, I guess?" Mr. Choi was determined.

"There's no woman" YongEul drew back.

"Well boy, I am damn sure that you talked about how you wanna see her!"

Nothing can stop Mr. Choi now.

"You were literally crying, that too over a woman" Mr. Choi sat down next to him and patted his back.

YongEul hid his face between his enormous hands, frustrated as he thought about that woman!

"It's nothing to worry about" he mumbled.

"It's the first time you ever talked about a woman, well in this case you even cried" Mr. Choi stood up dramatically and sighed.

"It's just...she's hard to explain?"

His behavior left Mr. Choi in disbelief.

Thinking about the woman.

"Oh my god! YOU HAVE DARK CIRCLES"

YongEul flinched.

"What?"

"YOUR EYES! They look bad! Are you not getting any sleep, boy???" Mr. Choi screamed.

"Is it that bad?" YongEul asked in disbelief.

"Well it's worse!" Mr. Choi scoffed.

"It's just that I'm having those nightmares. It's nothing but nightmares for the past 3 days! NO SLEEP! The moment I close my eyes, I see those kinds of dreams and they are not letting me sleep" YongEul slowly walked towards his glass wall that provided him with a majestic view of the city.

He rubbed his temples frustrated.

"Maybe you should get some help? Try therapy? I don't think you should keep this, get help, boy" Mr. Choi expressed his thoughts.

While YongEul was fighting a battle.

One part of him wanted to get rid of these, while the other chose to dive deeper for the meanings.

"It will probably be some stress or something" YongEul whispered.

"Just go visit a doctor when you feel like you can't take it anymore." Mr. Choi was right.

"Yeah!" It was barely audible.

"Whatever it is! Well, I actually came here to tell you that the Future museum in Gimhae can now proceed with it's opening ceremonies!" Mr. Choi placed the files on YongEul's table.

While YongEul took strong steps towards his desk, before claiming his throne.

He flipped through the pages carefully.

"What about hiring the staff?" He enquired.

Mr. Choi showed him a proud smile, "It's running smoothly."

YongEul chuckled a little at his proud face.

"The chairman seems to be really invested in this museum. The workers told me that he used to visit that place frequently. You should take good care of this project, boy!" Mr. Choi stated.

"I will." YongEul reassured.
