{Rain}
Squad A, clear.
Squad B, clear.
Squad C, clear and ahead of schedule, which Rain hadn't expected from that particular group of idiots but she'd take it.
Squad D hadn't checked in.
Rain looked at the sheet. Their last update was forty minutes ago, from the upper east section. It was a smaller zone than the others and should have taken less time, not more. Their runner had reported no issues. Just "proceeding as planned."
That was a while ago.
She folded the sheet and tucked it into her belt. It was probably fine. Upper levels had tighter corridors and worse footing from the structural damage, which meant slower clearing. Add in a cautious squad leader and you got delays.
Her gut didn't agree.
