"good idea" Faye said as she quickly dialed Mark's number.
It rang a few times but he didn't pick up till the line went dead and she gave Hailey a sad expression.
"Call again, maybe he is not with his phone" Hailey said and Faye frowned.
"Are you on his side or mine? You're my friend not his!" Faye replied.
"Just call him again" immediately Hailey said that Faye's phone rang, it was Mark calling.
"See..." Hailey added when she saw the caller ID and Faye picked up the phone putting it on a loud speaker.
"I saw your call, sorry, my phone was on silent" Mark's voice was heard.
"Where are you and why aren't you home yet?" Faye asked hurriedly.
"I'm at the office, there's a lot to do and I would be back late, should have informed you earlier.
"Alright" Faye said and hung up.
"Why..?" Hailey asked, wondering why she hung up so quickly.
"Why what? Let's go to his office, I have a feeling he isn't there" Faye said as she got up from the bed hurriedly.
One wouldn't believe she was the one crying seriously a few minutes ago.

They got to Mark's company and they both got down from the car and walked straight into the building.
"This place is deserted and dark" Hailey said wearily.
"One of the signs to show he is not here, I can't believe he lied to my face, that môtherfuçker" Faye said angrily, she walked up the stairs quickly and Hailey struggled to catch up.
"Can you slow down a bit?" Hailey said but Faye wasn't listening, she kept walking really fast.
They got to Mark's office and he wasn't there.
"My life is over" Faye said as she fell backwards and Hailey caught her.
"Hailey, he's not here!" Faye said on the verge of tears.
"Calm down, let's call him again" Hailey tried to calm her down.
"No! I'm going to your house, I don't want to see his face when he comes back" Faye said and walked towards the stairs again.
Hailey sighed before following her, she honestly believed there was a reason why Mark lied cause she knew Mark loved Faye a lot, she has seen it with her own eyes.

Hailey woke up in the morning but she couldn't find Faye on the bed, they had both slept together cause Faye was complaining and whining all night about how she was going to divorce Mark.
Hailey knew she was being extra dramatic.
What if she had gone to give him divorce papers or worse burn his house?
Hailey quickly got up from the bed and ran downstairs to find Faye in the living room watching TV.
She let out a relief breath as she walked towards her.
"You sleep a lot" Faye said when she saw Hailey slumped on the couch.
"You look much better than I expected" Hailey said and Faye chuckled.
"What did you do?" Hailey said anxiously as she stared at Faye.
"Nothing serious" Faye smiled and Hailey raised an eyebrow.
"And when you say nothing serious you mean...?
"I burnt down his company" Faye said casually and Hailey jaw dropped.
"You did what?!" Hailey screamed in shock and Faye burst into a fit of laughter.
"I'm joking" she said and Hailey relaxed.
"You actually think I would do that?" Faye asked and Hailey nodded.
"Yes I do" Hailey responded.
"Well I didn't, but that doesn't mean I didn't think about it" Faye replied

"But you didn't, and that's what matters," Hailey said.
"Just talk with him and let him explain himself" Hailey said.
"If he doesn't see me at home, he would come look for me" Faye said and Hailey nodded.
The door opened and Hardin entered, Hailey smiled widely immediately she saw him and she ran straight to him.

She hugged him tightly and they shared a passionate kiss

"I'm right here" Faye announced and Hailey giggled as she pulled away from Hardin.
"I thought you won't be back till like Friday" Hailey said.
"I missed you too much so I decided to come earlier" Hardin replied and Hailey's face turned red.
"I miss you too" Hailey replied and Hardin kissed her again.
"I'm still here" Faye announced again and Hailey pulled away.
"Why are you here?" Hardin asked with a frown.
"She thinks Mark is cheating on her" Hailey replied.
Immediately she said that the door opened again and Mark entered with a frown.
"Why are you here?" He asked immediately if he saw Faye who rolled her eyes.
"The same question I asked" Hardin replied.
"Don't act like you care when all you do is lie" Faye scoffed and Mark frowned in confusion.
"What are you talking about?" He asked.
"You said you were at the office yesterday but you weren't!" Faye yelled.
"We went to your office after the call, if you care to know" Hailey added.
"You came to the company that late?"
Mark asked.
"You weren't expecting it right? Cause you're a liar and a cheater, why didn't you just marry Sophie instead of me" Faye yelled in frustration.
"So this is about Sophie?" Mark asked in disbelief.
"When you're spending way more time with her than your wife, of course it's about her!" Faye replied.
"She only came to my office once because her brother was involved in a scam and she wanted a lawyer" Mark explained.
"I don't believe it" Faye answered.
"Can you both do this in your own house?" Hardin spoke up and Hailey gave him a glare.
"I'm telling you the truth, work has been stressful and now you're stressing me too?" Mark said and Faye scoffed.
"I'm always stressing you, aren't I?" Faye replied.
Mark was about to speak when the door opened.

They turned their attention to the door to know who would enter and immediately the person came into view their eyes widened.
It was a lady, a lady that looked exactly like Hailey, though she was a little taller than Hailey.
They looked exactly alike.
"Lucy?" Hardin said in shock and Hailey looked at him in equal shock.
"I'm back sweetheart" Lucy said with a wide smile.
