Faye had managed to persuade Hailey to come with her to a villa she owned in the city, she had ignored Mark attempts to talk to her cause she was still angry with him but their couples quarrel felt feeble to what Hailey and Hardin were facing so he let her be.
Hailey really didn't have much choice and she had no where to go, so she just decided to follow Faye, she was still in a daze and her head was trying hard to understand everything.
It hurts so much thinking things have finally begun to work out between them and she was finally finding happiness only to find out it was nothing but a losing game.
Their love was never meant to happen in the first place, it was built on lies, betrayal, hurt and deception.
"Hailey..." Faye said for a millionth time as stared at Hailey who was staring into space, she was worried about her friend.
Hailey felt numb, she had been crying for a very long time and right now she was just tired, tired of life, tired of everything.
"If you continue like this, it would mess with your mental health, and you may have a fever" Faye said.
She was sitting on the bed with Hailey who was also sitting on the bed.
"You knew too, right?" Hailey asked, looking at Faye who bit her lips.
Yeah... She knew Lucy and that's why she was shocked when she saw Faye cause the resemblance was striking, she actually thought it was a bad idea to have Hailey around but Hailey was a gem even though she looks like the witch who ruined Hardin's life.
"I have been living my life under lies" Hailey said as tears rolled down her cheek.
She never knew she had this much tears in her eyes and her eyes are begging her for rest because she has been crying since morning.
"Hailey don't say that, Hardin loves you a lot, Lucy is a bitçh" Faye said in an attempt to calm her but that only added to Hailey's pain.
"Don't! Please... I need space" she said and laid on the bed properly.
She wasn't only mad at Hardin but at Faye too, she had considered Faye a friend but she didn't see it fit to tell her something so big.
Guess she would never have a real friend after all.
Fuçk real friends, she would never have a normal life or pure happiness.

"I told you to make sure she was dead and you said you did, I told you to dig out her grave and find out if she was actually there and you said you did! How come she was alive?" Hardin yelled at Fedrick who swallowed.
"I did everything you said, I did exactly that and I swear I saw her body there, I didn't know she was still alive" Fedrick said fearfully.
An angry Hardin isn't someone to mess with.
"You're incompetent! Find out where she has been all this time and how she managed to cover her tracks so well, I want everything and you better do your job properly" Hardin said and Fedrick nodded.
"Leave!!" He yelled and Fedrick left the office.
It has been four days since Lucy came to Hardin's place and caused a commotion, Hailey had refused to talk to him or see him.
He had tried going over to Faye's Villa when Mark told him where Hailey was but Faye had stopped him telling him Hailey wasn't in any mood to see him.
When he went there too often, Faye changed location and he didn't know where they were, even Mark had no idea cause Faye didn't tell him, she was still very much angry with him because of Sophie 's issues.
Hardin couldn't imagine what Hailey was going through, she must be really hurt, how would he explain to her that he doesn't care about Lucy.
He loved only her and no one else and he didn't give a shit if they looked alike, Hailey was way different from Lucy in his eyes.
Lucy has been trying to make him forgive her for the past four days and he hasn't been giving her much space nor time.
She was relentless either way.
He picked up his phone and dialed Mark's number
"Don't you know where they are?" He asked immediately Mark picked, it killed him to know that Hailey was in pain and he didn't know where she was and how to erase her pain.
"Don't yell at me, even though I don't know where my wife is" Mark replied.
"And I don't know where they are either" he added and Hardin hung up.
Could things get any worse?

"You just have to wait a little while, when I get Hailey you can swoop in" Cole said calmly while Lucy clicked her lips on the floor repeatedly.
"And what if this genius plan of yours doesn't work?" Lucy asked.
"If you play your part well, it would work out smoothly, I don't see you making any progress in getting him to love you" Cole replied and Lucy scoffed.
"How are you so sure your inside guy won't betray you?" Lucy asked.
"He won't, I have his sister under my clutches" Cole said confidently.
"You just have to keep him occupied for a month at least till everything is done, then you can do whatever you want" Cole added.
"You don't even know where she is, how would you take her?".
Lucy asked.
"I have my ways, like I said, just play your part well, if you want things to go smoothly like how we faked your death then you'll do as I say" Cole replied.
"I'm only doing this cause your plan worked well last time and I believe it would be the same this time" Lucy said
