Hailey didn't say anything to Hardin when they got to the mansion, she simply went upstairs and walked towards a room.
"You don't want to stay in your room?" Hardin spoke behind her and she paused without moving.
He walked ahead of her and opened the room door.
"I made sure the room was cleaned everyday since you left cause I hoped you'll come back" he spoke up and she walked into the room ignoring him completely.
Hardin sighed as the door was shut on his face, she was acting really strange, why didn't she go to her room.
Has she forgotten his place in just a few days?

"What's going on?" Hailey asked in shock and surprise, Cole was the least person she expected to see, the way he was now she couldn't recognize him.
It's like his calm and nice aura was replaced with something wicked and evil, he was completely different.
"Oh my sweet Hailey, you look so innocent," Cole said with a smirk.
"Why am I tied up here? Did you kidnap me?" Hailey asked, she hoped what she was thinking wasn't true cause she couldn't handle another betrayal at all, another lie.
"You're seeing the obvious and you're still asking if I kidnapped you? You really are innocent and naive" Cole laughed heartily and Hailey bit her lips.
"Why? I thought we were friends?" Hailey asked, hungry for answers.
"I thought we were friends too until you decided to leave me for that man, the same person who hurt you" Cole replied, his face darkening.
"But don't worry, I wouldn't hold it against you, you'll be forgetting him soon anyway" Cole smiled.
"What are you talking about? Please explain to me, where you are just pretending to be my friend, I don't understand" Hailey said, trying her best to hold in her tears.
So many unbelievable things been happening to her lately and she just couldn't breathe.
"You want answers sweetheart?" Cole asked, he pulled a chair from a corner in the room and sat in front of Hailey.
Hailey hadn't noticed the room until now, it was a small space with barely nothing in it, just some few chairs.
"I would tell you what you want to know, you'll forget soon, so where is the harm in telling you" Cole smirked sinisterly.
"Hardin Anthony, the one person I despise the most, he is like a thong in my part, always has to be number one at everything, even in college, I was number two and he has to be number one" Cole Said, his voice dripping with hatred.
Hailey just stared at him, so he harbors hatred for Hardin cause he couldn't surpass him?
"I always hated the fact that he takes everything I wanted including women, so I saw an opportunity I couldn't overlook, one enough to destroy him" Cole smiled remembering the memory.
"All I had to do was to send Lucy to him, and she was so perfect at her job, she did it so well, Hardin was head over hills for her, he would do anything for her, he fell into the trap I carefully planned without even knowing it" Cole chuckled mockingly.
"It was so amusing, he was so fuçking stupid, he even showed her important documents and plans that were supposed to be confidential and that's where everything I worked for started showing results" Cole continued, his laugh turning into a smirk.
"She ruined him, he had no idea he helped ruined himself, I was so happy when everything fell into place, he fell into my hands like a fool, even though it took a long time it was Worth it"
"He was broken, hurt, disappointed, his company went down really badly and I believe I reduced him to nothing but I guess that wasn't enough to destroy the all mighty Hardin Anthony was it?" Cole said angrily.
"He was still able to make a comeback, he didn't go down as expected and he rose again" Cole gritted his teeth.
"Years of planning amounted to nothing because that fuçker couldn't stay down! And then he went after Lucy, obviously he would want to have his revenge for what she did, I had no choice but to help her" Cole sighed
"Honestly I could have just leave her in his clutches but she would bring me down with her so I had to help faked her death and made sure she is well hidden so he wouldn't find her"
"I wouldn't have been able to do that without Fedrick though, you know him right? Hardin's assistant, all he had to do was give false information, I didn't make him do much cause i don't want Hardin suspecting him" Cole sighed again.
"Then I saw you dearie, looking just like Lucy but way better, you're just naive, I tried tricking you into leaving him but that didn't work so I had to result to this.. don't blame me Sweetie, you caused this" Cole said using his hand to rub Hailey face who only glared at him in hate and anger.
She couldn't believe this, Hardin suffered so much because of this bàstard's doing? She was really mad at Hardin but right now she just felt extremely sorry for him.
"If I disappear, they will know, Faye will find out and she will tell Hardin and you'll pay for what you did" Hailey yelled and Cole laughed.
"That would only happen when they know you're missing," he smirked.
"What are you talking about?"
Hailey asked in confusion and fear.
"Someone has already taken your place, I just hope she holds them off till we leave New York, cause that bitçh is annoying unlike you" Cole said getting up from the chair.
Hailey shook in fright, Lucy is pretending to be her? Then how would Hardin find her if he thinks she is with him?
Cole's phone rang and he brought it out of his suit pants, when he saw the caller ID he smirked.
"Perfect timing" he smirked as he accepted the call.
"Have you done it already?" Lucy's voice came from the other end and Hailey stiffened, Cole had put the phone on speaker.
"Not yet, about to though, by tomorrow she would have forgotten, why are you calling me? You better not get caught" Cole answered.
"Hasn't he suffered enough, why are you doing this to him?" Hailey yelled hoping her voice would get to Lucy's ears.
Her shoulders slumped and tears ran down her cheek when she heard Lucy laughed.
"I see you filled her in" Lucy said to Cole.
"She would be forgetting everything very soon anyway" Cole replied.
"Both of you won't get away with this!" Hailey said, her voice cracking.
"We already did," Cole replied with an evil smile.
