Nash struggled to speak as he stood before the inner city guards.

The other guard immediately fetched some water and handed it to Nash.
After drinking and recovering his breath, Nash forced himself to stand and said urgently, "Quickly report this to the House. The Llica Plains are suffering from a large-scale pest infestation. We need high-level magicians to deal with it."
The guards' expressions changed immediately.
Hearing that the Llica Plains were facing such a serious infestation, they quickly helped Nash toward the castle.
A person of Nash's status was not qualified to enter the fortress without an official pass. Normally, he could only reach the inner gate and hand his report to the guards, who would then determine whether the information was important enough to be passed on.
