"Well, kinda," Kiara whispered inaudibly. "Are you ok with it?" She whispered hesitantly, this time a bit louder for Belinda to hear.
Belinda scoffed at her question. "That's something you shouldn't be embarrassed about."
Belinda leaned back in her seat before she continued speaking. "Have you told him yet?" She asked.
Looking at Belinda for the first time since Fionn left, her breath caught. "Tell... tell him what?"
"About your illness. Won't you tell him?"
Kiara sat back, resting her body on the couch. She went silent for a moment before turning to Belinda. "I'm afraid. I'm scared of telling him."
"Why are you scared? I don't think there's anything that should scare you." Belinda said. She got off her seat and walked to the couch, where Kiara sat, taking up the space beside her.
"Tell me. Tell me what scares you. What is it that you are afraid of telling him?"
