After taking the pic, Tom walked to where Saddie was seated. All her attention was fixed on the couple. She didn't notice Tom standing beside her.
He cleared his voice. It startled the girl. She looked in his direction. She didn't care to hide the frustration she had. Not because he'd approached her. No. She was frustrated because of how envious she was towards her own sister.
With a smile, he spoke. "Care if I have a seat with you?"
"Sure." Saddie nodded. She didn't mind him. Her attention then immediately shot back to her sister and Silas.
Tom took the seat. He didn't speak right away. He only sat smiling as he watched the dancing couple, his gaze occasionally darting back to Saddie just to watch her reaction.
The silence between the two lingered, but no one seemed to care. Until after a long time of observing the couple and the girl beside him, Tom finally spoke.
"You like him not so?" He asked.
