Location: The Ashen Crypt (Layer 1 - The Bone Fields)
Time: 08:30 PM BST
If you have never actively watched a sixteen-year-old girl punch a heavily armoured skeleton so hard its ribcage violently explodes into bone shrapnel, all while a Grandmaster Assassin sighs heavily about the state of his dry cleaning, you honestly haven't lived.
The Ashen Crypt was a sprawling, subterranean wasteland of grey ash and jagged obsidian spires.
It smelled exactly like ancient dust and incredibly bad breath. It was heavily populated by mindless Bone-Thralls, stalking Shadow-Wolves, and the occasional, lumbering Grave-Titan.
To a normal, sane raiding party, this place was a horrific, lethal nightmare. To us, it was a high-speed stress-relief room.
"Score check!" Tiffany yelled over the sound of breaking bone.
Her new [Kinetic Burst] skill was actively sending her ricocheting off the heavy stone pillars like a deranged human pinball.
She slammed her glowing sneaker heel directly into the exposed skull of a massive Shadow-Wolf. The sheer kinetic force instantly vaporised its heavy head in a thick puff of violet mist.
"That's officially forty-two! Dex, you're seriously lagging!"
Dexter didn't bother to answer.
He was currently swinging a rusted Greatsword that easily weighed as much as a commercial washing machine. He absolutely wasn't using any refined martial technique. He was just using brute, unadulterated physics.
He swung the massive blade horizontally in a single, devastating arc, cleanly cleaving through three armoured Bone-Thralls at once.
CRUNCH.
"Forty-five," Dexter grunted flatly, not breaking a sweat. "Combo multiplier active."
Vlad was currently nowhere to be seen. Or rather, he was absolutely everywhere.
A sharp flash of silver here. A silently falling body there. He moved fluidly through the chaotic combat zone with his left hand casually tucked into his suit pocket. He occasionally flicked a single finger to deliver a highly lethal [Phantom Edge] strike directly to a monster's exposed throat.
"So incredibly messy," Vlad's smooth voice drifted disapprovingly from the dark shadows.
"Absolutely no elegance. You chaotic children fight exactly like kitchen blenders stuck on 'puree'. Where is the high art of the kill?"
And me?
I was casually riding a crude Tesla-Hoverboard, a modified, stolen skateboard deck fitted with four mini-repulsor engines I'd hastily synthesized in the elevator.
I wasn't actively fighting. I was aggressively looting.
Zip. Whir. Grab.
As I glided smoothly over the chaotic battlefield at forty miles per hour, my [Inventory (Lv. 9)] actively sucked up glowing mana-crystals, rare bone-dust, and valuable monster drops before they even hit the ashen ground.
"Cheater," Lilith floated lazily beside me.
Her chunky sneakers were dangling completely unsupported in the empty air. She was casually eating from a large bag of flaming Cheetos she'd simply conjured from the absolute void.
She wasn't participating, but her golden eyes were tracking every single micro-movement I made with a cold, calculating intensity. She was studying the anomaly.
"You're actively treating my ancient, sacred dungeon like a cheap supermarket sweep, Mason." Lilith crunched loudly on a crisp. "It's profoundly disrespectful to the hard-working undead."
"Extreme efficiency, Lilith," I smirked.
I executed a sharp kickflip over a massive, steaming pile of wolf corpses. "Time is literal money. And currently, my physical time is valued at approximately 1.2 billion Shadow Coins."
We quickly reached the first major clearing.
A Grave-Titan, a horrific, twenty-foot monstrosity made entirely of violently fused skeletons, roared deafeningly, shaking the ashen ground beneath our feet.
"First boss fight!" Tiffany cheered loudly, aggressively cracking her knuckles. "Absolute dibs on the kneecaps!"
"I strictly take the head," Dexter rumbled, stepping heavily forward and raising his massive sword.
"Wait," I commanded sharply, instantly stopping my hoverboard. "Hold up."
I tapped the silver head of my Aether-Cane on the stone. [Loading Data (Lv. 2)] flashed sharply across my retinas.
I clearly saw the massive Titan's brutal attack pattern exactly 0.5 seconds before it physically happened.
I didn't try to move fast. With my low physical stats, that was suicide. Instead, I moved securely between the ticking seconds.
[SKILL ACTIVATED: TIME-STOP (0.2s)]
[SKILL ACTIVATED: DIMENSION RIFT (MICRO)]
To the others watching, I didn't actually move.
One second I was casually standing on my hoverboard. The very next millisecond, I was standing directly behind the towering Titan, casually adjusting my jacket cuffs.
The roaring Titan completely froze mid-strike.
Then, three perfectly circular, smooth holes suddenly appeared in its fused central core. It crumbled instantly into a massive pile of grey dust without making a single sound.
Vlad materialized out of the shadows right next to me.
He didn't look shocked. He looked deeply, dangerously intrigued. He slowly looked down at his new Gentleman's Watch, then back up at the massive pile of dust.
"Interesting," Vlad murmured smoothly. "I am a Level 245 Grandmaster. I can clearly see the beating wings of a hummingbird in flight. But I truly didn't see that."
"Severe lag," I winked at him, casually tapping my hoverboard with my boot. "Demonic server issues, Vlad. You should really upgrade your Wi-Fi package."
I leaned heavily against my cane.
Secretly, I was frantically activating the Tesla Core to forcefully pump raw electricity into my rapidly failing muscles. That tiny, 0.2-second Time-Stop had instantly cost me 30% of my total stamina. My pathetic STA stat (1.9) was actively screaming at me.
"Massive show off," Lilith sneered, loudly crunching another Cheeto.
"You're blatantly cheating the local frame rate, Mason. The universal system absolutely hates that."
"The universal system can formally file a written complaint," I gasped quietly, desperately trying not to look like I was about to faint.
"Lilith. The Elixir. Give it to me now."
Lilith raised a sharp, golden eyebrow. "You actually want the Tier-2 Vitality Brew? Right now? It's going to severely burn, babe. Like, 'drinking active lava' burn."
"I absolutely don't have the time to slowly grind for physical stats," I hissed through gritted teeth. My left hand was visibly trembling against the cane.
"Just give it to me. I need to be able to physically run without my bloody lungs instantly resigning."
Lilith grinned a terrifying, fanged smile.
She reached deep into her oversized hoodie pocket and pulled out a heavy flask made of thick obsidian glass. The volatile liquid inside was violently glowing a toxic, neon green.
"Bottoms up, Architect," she laughed, casually tossing the heavy flask to me.
I caught it cleanly. Absolutely no hesitation. I ripped the cork out with my teeth and downed the entire flask in one massive, desperate gulp.
FIRE.
It physically felt like I had just swallowed a dying star.
My fragile veins instantly bulged, glowing a sickly, radioactive green brightly under my pale skin. I fell violently to my knees, desperately clutching my chest as the toxic elixir aggressively rewrote my core DNA.
"Mason!" Tiffany yelled in panic, rushing quickly over. "Are you okay? You're literally glowing like a rave glow-stick!"
"Stand firmly back!" Vlad ordered sharply, quickly pulling Tiffany away by her vest. "That is highly unstable, high-density Aether. If you physically touch him right now, your skin will melt."
My vision instantly turned blinding white.

[REWRITING BIOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK...]
[WARNING: BIOLOGICAL FRAME INSTABILITY – 38%]
[WARNING: TESLA CORE OVERLOAD RISK]
CRACK. SNAP.
I felt my brittle bones rapidly hardening. My weak muscle fibres violently knitted together, becoming significantly tighter and stronger than woven steel.
The Tesla 1.5 Core roared loudly in perfect sync with the burning elixir, forcefully pumping the raw energy through my entire body, pushing me dangerously close to the breaking point.
[VIT UPGRADE: 3.8 > 15.0]
[STA UPGRADE: 1.9 > 20.0]
[STR UPGRADE: 10.8 > 45.0]
The agonizing pain completely vanished, leaving behind a terrifying, unstable hum in my blood.
I stood up slowly.
I took a deep breath. A deep, entirely full breath that didn't rattle pathetically in my chest.
I felt... incredibly heavy. Completely solid. For the very first time in 1,000 brutal loops, I didn't physically feel like a fragile ghost barely inhabiting a rotting corpse.
I finally felt like a bloody tank.
"Oh," I whispered, slowly flexing my right hand. The pressurized air loudly popped around my thick fingers. "That is significantly better."
I looked up at the squad.
Dexter was staring at me with a very rare, genuine spark of physical interest. Tiffany looked deeply terrified but highly impressed. Vlad looked intensely, coldly calculating.
"You are absolutely not human," Vlad muttered, gripping the hilt of his hidden dagger. "What exactly are you?"
I hopped smoothly back onto my makeshift skateboard. The cheap suspension groaned heavily under my massive new weight density.
"I'm the bloke who's going to aggressively clear this entire dungeon in under ten minutes," I grinned.
My eyes were glowing a deep, incredibly dangerous violet. "Dex, Tiff, Vlad... stop playing with your food. We have a final boss to kill."
"Wait, there's actually more?" Tiffany asked, looking nervously down the endless, pitch-black tunnel ahead.
"Oh, Tiffany," Lilith floated up smoothly, her golden eyes shining with sadistic delight.
"That pathetic Titan was just the warm-up tutorial. The Bone-King is patiently waiting for you in the deepest basement. And he absolutely hates noisy skateboarders."
"Good," I said flatly.
I kicked off the hard stone ground, accelerating instantly to sixty miles per hour.
"[Acceleration - Lv. 3]. Try to keep up."
I shot violently into the total darkness. A blinding violet streak of pure, unadulterated architectural arrogance.
Behind me, I heard Dexter laugh. It was a deep, terrifying, booming sound that echoed off the crypt walls.
"Finally," Dexter roared happily, charging aggressively after me. "Speedrun mode!"
As the violet streak of my [Acceleration] tore through the oppressive gloom, the UI in my vision began to rapidly tally the utter carnage we had left in our wake.
The Ossuary wasn't just a terrifying tomb anymore. It was a fully cleared floor, littered heavily with the dissolving, ashen remains of things that really should have stayed dead.

["Architect."]
Eliza's voice hummed directly into my brain with a deep, predatory satisfaction.
["The rare ingredients are finally secured."]
["You finally have the chemical means to completely cheat the Gacha gods."]
["But do try to actively stay in one piece."]
["The Bone-King doesn't take kindly to petty thieves robbing his medicine cabinet."]
I didn't slow down for a single second.
The intense indigo light radiating from my Chrono-Tesla watch sharply illuminated the massive, heavily vaulted iron doors of the Inner Sanctum ahead.
Beyond those heavy doors lay the first 'Grave-Key', and the massive monster currently holding it.
"Dexter! Tiffany!" I shouted loudly over the deafening roar of the wind. My voice was completely cold and absolute.
"Tactical Formations! The Bone-King is a highly lethal Class-A anomaly."
I drifted the hoverboard to a halt just outside the heavy archway. "Do not look directly at his eyes, and for heaven's sake, do not let him touch the expensive hardware!"
The massive iron doors ahead didn't just slowly open. They violently disintegrated into a thick cloud of freezing, necrotic ash.
A terrifying silhouette of jagged obsidian and ancient, rusted armour rose slowly from a throne of skulls. A colossal, rusted blade violently ignited with toxic soul-fire that instantly turned the entire room a sickly, necrotic green.
[WARNING: BOSS ENCOUNTER – THE BONE-KING (ETERNAL DAMNED)]
[THREAT LEVEL: RED]
[ELIZA: "Oh, look. He's brought an excessively large sword. How terribly, predictably cliché."]
The Bone-King didn't roar. He simply vanished.
In a fraction of a second, the colossal burning blade was already sweeping down toward my neck, tearing the very air apart in a lethal arc.
CLANG.
Dexter was instantly there. His rusted greatsword met the Soul-Fire blade head-on, the sheer kinetic impact sending a shockwave that cracked the stone walls around us. Dexter's boots dug inches deep into the solid floor, holding the monster completely at bay.
I casually reached into my [S] Inventory. My thick fingers brushed smoothly against the newly completed, glowing potion.
"Speedrun mode?" Dexter grunted, holding back a mountain of necrotic muscle.
"No, Dexter," I said calmly, pulling the potion free. "This is the patch where the developer deeply regrets coding the boss."
