*ISAIAH'S POV*
"This is the best gift that heaven could have given me." My smile was widening. My heart was racing to the point that I thought I was going to burst.
After Red Moon said that he liked my determination.
He... kissed me.
And that kiss became the best gift until... he gave me this.
The same book which I remember him reading while he was trying to avoid me. That same book has become the best gift that heaven can give me. I don't even know myself how grateful I am to the person who made the Chand Scroll and also to the God who made me and Red Moon soulmates.
And somewhere in that pleasure of knowing that my soulmate was none other than Red Moon, I realized why I was drawn to him more than anyone should be. Why fate always brought us together. Why my heart only beats fast for him. Why my head was already thinking about him even before I realized it.
My hands clenched the book tightly. My eyes drifted over to the side of the bed where Red Moon once sat.
"Red Moon, you are mine."
*RED MOON'S POV*
A possessive smile played on Isaiah's lips. His hands were holding onto the book like it was his life. His eyes were drowning in happiness.
But I am sure that happiness wouldn't last long when he realizes he is the replacement.
Replacement of the dead body which refuses to let me go at night. Which keeps reminding me that the one who receives my love will eventually shatter. Break into pieces that can't be restored with any kind of magic.
My body loosened up a bit, and I started taking deep breaths. Trying to stop myself from thinking something horrible.
No matter how much I wanted to tell Isaiah about this whole Chand Scroll thing, my mouth eventually gave up when I sat in front of him, seeing his once-brightened eyes, which were now only filled with the darkest of obsession and tiredness.
Creak.
The sound came from below.
The branch that I was sitting on broke slightly. I looked at Isaiah and, luckily, he was still immersed in his fantasy. My eyes scanned Isaiah one last time before I departed. The air which was warm before felt cold for some reason.
As my feet climbed onto the air, I felt someone's eyes on me. A cold, possessive gaze enveloped me. I could feel it as it crept into my skin and then my heart. I took a deep breath. I am sure who that was.
Isaiah.
That was Isaiah. He saw me.
*ISAIAH'S POV*
The soft illuminating ray fell upon my eyes. Warmth crept up my body. The Legacy of Chand was still in my hands. And now, it somehow feels like that book belongs there. Tender liquid dripped down from the eyes which were now only shut.
The whole night.
The whole night I was thinking. Thinking about everything.
Every moment of my life. Every choice I made. Every mistake.
Maybe all those moments were all part of the journey to get someone like him?
I couldn't help but smile. I spent 8 years of my life chasing someone that everyone said was out of my league. Even my own parents, whom I trusted, thought that it was just a phase that I would get out of soon.
But it didn't. He emerged with my personality. He captured my day-to-day thoughts. He occupied spaces I didn't know existed.
He was everywhere and anytime for me.
And maybe after seeing my desperation, God decided to let a poor man like me have a thread of connection to the strongest.
Somehow, the losses felt sweet, wins felt like I was going one step forward. New allies felt like one more potential piece of information about him. Everything clicked into place.
"Isaiah, what are you doing?" My mom's voice echoed.
I didn't notice her coming into my room. My still-wet eyes looked at her.
She started walking towards me, fast, like I was something being snatched away from her.
She hugged me tightly. Enough to choke every bit of air out of me.
"Mom, I am fine. Please let me go," I said as I slowly pushed her away.
"What do you mean? Your eyes are swollen. You look like you had a nightmare."
"No, Mom, these are tears of pure joy. God has granted me a big wish, Mom, a huge wish. I was just thinking about that the whole night."
My mom hesitated for a moment as she looked at the book in my hands.
"What wish?" she finally asked.
I told her everything. Everything that happened yesterday. Every thought and every possibility.

*EMPRESS SAMANTHA'S POV*
"Him? haha... Just know that he is greater then we will ever be. Don't mess with him. Don't even think about crossing paths with him."
That was the first statement I ever heard about Crimson Moon Waterfall.
At that time, princesses my age would go crazy over an ethereal beauty like him. They were jealous that he was initially tied to my country. But on contrary to them, I thought it was awful.
He was one of those bad influences that parents hate. And when their child becomes obsessed with him they brush it off as a phrase.
And I hoped that I could also dothat.
But unfortunately for me, I knew from the start that Isaiah had something more then just early first love for Red Moon. I tried to ignore. Tried to say that he was just like me. Being obsessed with first love for more then just few years. Yet, universe saw something between Isaiah and Red Moon and now?
They are soulmates.
They are exactly the pair that I thought was just fleeting flowers in the autumn. I tried to achieve what I bet, Red Moon, didn't even want through out my whole prime.
I spent my supreme ages in the search of the no body that was my destiny.
And maybe I couldn't even blame myself for it.
People always told me that I would become the greatest woman. The leader that would crush everyone. One of those women who would tear the skies apart. And that was something that I wanted to achieve. Just because I was interested in it.
However during that journey I discovered something. This world is created for women. Every opportunity, every right, every power and every gold are women's possession to have. And men? They are just the beauties to create the leaders of next generation.
In a world like this, having the almighty women who ruled the entirely of nations fear a dancer who danced at night was something that people found interesting.
Including me.
And maybe that's when it started. My search of a fated lover. My utmost sin.
Yet, even after those bloody years of chasing that possibility. I never found one. On my own at least...
Because what I thought was just an arranged marriage ended up being the most beautiful part of my life.
I knew it when I laid my eyes on him at the Altar. The way he looked nervous. The way he smiled awkwardly. I wished that I would have met him earlier then just rampaging small nations.
And that first kiss was when I was sure... He was the fated one all along.
But, when I found out that we couldn't have kids. A part of me was broken. Torn into pieces that can't be snitched. Another part of me thought of the life with me and him. The blooming flower with a slight warmth in the air while I embraced him to my hearts content.
In the end, we adopted Isaiah. The boy with multiple masks.
'He is perfect.' that was my first thought
But maybe I shouldn't have thought that. Because just few years after that the first love that I had became the first love of my son.
And now soulmates.
Red Moon isn't just some dangerous man. He is someone with centuries of past. He has seen the worst and the best of humanity. He has lived through it all. Yet, all feelings I have left for him is the feeling of slight resentment.
I don't blame Red Moon for taking my baby. But, the thought of 'why you?' still lingers and it maybe will be lingering in the future too.
God were you that bored?
