Demetrio's POV
Three darts. Three targets. Three victories pending.
I stood on the helipad of the hotel and watched through the military-grade binoculars as eight of the Bratva's most senior members raised their glasses in the room across the skyline, entirely unaware that they were doing so for the last time, and I thought about the specific satisfaction of a plan that had been built with sufficient precision to arrive exactly where it was supposed to arrive.
"All set, don," Dominic said behind me.
I lowered the binoculars and handed them off without looking. The late evening wind moved across the helipad with the specific quality of a city that did not know it was about to become significantly quieter in several locations simultaneously.
"Satino," I said.
"Stationed. Waiting for the kill order."
"Alesky."
"Chopper squad and arsonists are in position. Every soldier is placed." A pause. "They're waiting on you."
