It took an instant for Cloud and I to close the distance. A calm sensation enveloped my body as I got closer to the lady. A feeling I've never felt before.
"Good morning, all. Morning to you, my mother" Cloud spoke first, spreading his right hands for a handshake.
Did he seriously introduce himself that way, I thought
The lady lowered her height to match ours, spread her arms around us and pulled us in for a hug.
"It's been a long time, my sons". She said, I could feel her beating fast and her body getting hot by the second.
She released us and I saw it. She had black eyes similar to me and Cloud. She was my mother. I know now.
She stood up back to her original height, patted us on the hand as she rose. She turned to Great Uncle.
"Old man, once they are done with the test, they can leave, right?" She said, her eyes straight and her tone changed.
Great Uncle entire focus was centered at the window-side when she spoke. He was not paying attention.
"Phoenix", he said.
"What!" the black-haired woman replied.
If her name truly is Phoenix, then she is really my mother.
Great Uncle had now turned completely to our side, facing our direction.
"You are now a mother." He said "As I told yours same way I shall tell you. Control yourself."
"What do you mean, control yourself" She complained.
Yeah,
"Let's go"
As I heard that, our legs left the ground. The window opened mysteriously. My mother was still complaining but her voice was now slowly fading.
We were carried by Great Uncle to somewhere. There were multiple trees, not of equal length, they all bloomed different shades of green.
When I looked to Cloud, he was confused same as me.
"Um__" Cloud spoke but was cut off.
He dropped us at what looked like the entrance of a great forest.
"Right here is a forest located at the back of the house" Great uncle said, after dropping us to the ground.
There was a forest at the back of the house. I never noticed. However, what are we doing here?
"If you observe, you will see a light at the middle" he said. "You are to reach there and while you're at it, take record of every monster you encounter."
"What do you mean by taking record, sir?" Cloud responded instantly.
"I will say this once. You are to take record of every monster you encounter" he replied "Their look, color, attack pattern and any if their characteristics you notice"
Wait, Wait!
Isn't that way too much for kids below ten" Cloud complained.

We were lifted and thrown into the forest directly.
Great Uncle turned his back and left saying "Don't worry. You are of Adna blood. You will survive"
(World POV)
Moonlight and Cloud stared at each other, one looking serious and the other being curious.
"Let's go" Cloud said as he paved the way into the forest.
"Okay" Moonlight replied and followed.
And as they walked, shall mark the beginning of two stories and many other to come. They shall find their way to survive in world with near infinite possibilities.
