"Your highness, His majesty has called"A maid knocked on the door and said, Lunaria stood from bed, she was wearing a sheer evening gown as she exited the room, submissive. *Why has that b**tard of a king called for me? I played the submissive princess well, didn't I?* As lunaria walked down the candlelit hallways, her shadow draping over the walls like a silent cloak, her elder sister, Laria exited the kings study, smirking as she looked down on Lunaria, "Oh sister, I'm afraid your days in the moonshade empire are over" Laria chuckled malishily as she walks away, It had always been like this, Laria had always seen Lunaria as an obstacle for the throne, she was always eager to get rid of her, *Looks as if today is the day, The day I leave the Moonshade empire*
Lunaria smiled with melancholy, *I played the submissive princess so well, even though I was the one with the power of the moon all along... and now I'll be forced to leave, truly, a sad ending...* Lunaria stepped inside the study of the king of the moonshade empire, her father. "I humbly greet the moon of our empire, may the illuminated blessing of the lunar deities accompany your majesty" said lunaria with a curtsy, slightly bowing her head down. "Father, may I have the honor of knowing the reason for my summons?"
Her father looked down at her with disdain, "Lunaria, you'll finally have use, you are to marry the prince of the neighbouring kingdom, we need peace with those utter ruthless savages." Lunaria kept her head bowed down as her father continued, "Don't worry, we just need you to keep them in check and rein in those savage dogs" He smirked maliciously and he waved is hand, ushering Lunaria to exit. She clenched her jaw, "Marrying me off as a pawn...*she scoffs*truly, father, you have no space for redemption left"
Laria blocked her path with the same smug and malicious smirk she always put on, "I heard your going to marry the prince of Sunblaze... is that true?" her voice dripped with sarcasm and mockery, "I've heard he has a harem of women, I just hope you aren't outshined, dear sister" Laria's maids cackled at Lunaria, who just kept her head bowed, "I understand, sister. thank you for your gracious concern" Laria smirked as Lunaria hurriedly dispersed. "Today is the day I shall finally leave this god forsaken place"
