Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Prince x Snow

The sun shone over the city, Cheers rang out across the sports field. Sweat trickled down boys running down the field, dribbling the ball between their legs. A Silver-haired Aki sat on the bleachers, his sleeves slipped over his fingers as he tapped his cheek, hair strands wrapped around his index, brows lowered, The ball reflected in his eyes

The corner of his vision shimmered, a brilliant blue light filling his view. An interface slowly appeared, text rolled like a scroll, each line a highlighter

[Aki Hoshino]

[Class: Hero Candidate]

The text pulsed against the interface, beating to his heartbeat.

A hand rested on his shoulder, the fingers dug subtly as it squeezed on it, the interface dimmed to the corners of his vision, his pulse slowed as he raised his eyebrow. "Vp. The president's looking for you"

"The president?" His voice was a low, steady whisper, strands of hair fell, covering part of his face, some rested on his shoulders. He smiled at the person, a green haired girl, she had immediately recoiled at his voice, bumping a student behind her. "Where is he?"

The girl pointed in a direction opposite where he was sitting. He slowly stood up, the shoulders of his sweater loosely hanging. The badge around his wrist bounced up and down as he descended down the stairs, drawing attention of most of the students present. Watching him leave, the girl exhaled a breath, she leaned into the now open seat, before her eyes caught a metallic glint, she reached down, grasping at a metal bind, pulling it. She discovered it was a necklace, the center piece engraved boldly– P x S

"Vice President?!" She called out. Her steps rushed as she skipped down the stairs, running towards him. His steps paused, and he slowly turned around. "What?"

His lips parted as his eyes found the necklace in the girl's hand, he immediately spun around, taking heavy steps as he walked back. He raised his palm, his expression remained blank, the girl carefully set the necklace in his hand, backing away. "Thanks" he spoke softly as he gently ran a finger over the piece, his eyes softened momentarily, but it vanished as quickly as It had appeared. He turned and walked away, leaving behind spectators screaming out silence. "That guy's really weird" a male student snickered to his friend, they had just begun laughing before a girl spoke up from behind. "You know. That weirdness is what everyone likes. In general"

"Really?"

"Of course" she continued. "Look at him. He's cute isn't he? Of course we'd like someone like him"

"So that's what you meant" the boy lowered his head, looking dejected. 'Maybe I should brood too?'

Aki walked into the entrance to the building. The necklace sat safely around his neck. One hand slumped by his side, limping back and forth against his strodes, the other deep in his pocket as he made his way to the staircase. Climbing up, voices drifted from above, followed by laughter. "So. We're doing karaoke today, right"

He knocked on the railing, the echo vibrating up, and booming right in their ears. "PE Class. Get your shits to the field" the low growl vibrated his throat as it flowed out, abruptly stopping the chatter

The students, confused, glanced over the railing, their eyes meeting the red depths approaching them. Their vision drowned in blue as their SOF flashed

[Hostility detected]

The students feet carried them before their minds could even process as they stepped aside, making way

He suddenly looked their way, winking before adding with a smile. "The headmaster's coming this way"

He passed the students, stopping by a door right behind them, the students whispered their "Thank you" before hopping down the stairs, and sprinting full speed towards the exit. Aki's fingers tapped on the door, crisp knocks echoing in the hallway. The door opened, and a blonde student who looked about his height stood there, documents tucked under his armpit. "VP. You're here, let's begin"

He stepped aside to let him in, inside. Documents were spread across the table, the brown brown wood of the desk like crumbs

"What's up?" He leaned against the window, his eyes staring blankly at the field. "I came here to relax you know. I'm not here to work"

"Come on" the president, Sam pleaded with him, slumping in his chair, his head hitting the wood with a thud. "Come on. No lessons doesn't mean you don't have to work. Please?"

"Fine. What do you need help with?"

"You're a good friend. Hoshino" he walked over, gripping a stack of papers firmly between his palms. "Put these up around the school. They're posters for the upcoming sports festival"

"Fine" he stormed out, his brow twitching while Sam chuckled behind him

He walked through the hallways, his sneakers squeaked against the marble

He walked to a class, where an arm full of students were seated, some individually, some in groups, engrossed in the books. They were so focused they didn't even notice him

"Alice" his voice made everyone in the class look up, and a panicked look crossed their eyes. "I have a job for you"

"Sorry cuz, I'm pretty busy" a brown-haired girl spoke up from the back, she didn't look up, and simply just stared down at her book

"No you're not" he walked into to the class, the weight of the posters weighed on the table as he set them down. "Your buddies will help you out. Consider it punishment for skipping class"

Alice finally looked up. Her eyes darkened, with a wave, her interface emerged

[ALICE HOSHINO]

[SKILL: SPLASH]

The air around her trickled, wind slowed, steam formed at her fingertips, evolving into a floating blob of water that shot foward, exploding in his face. Leaving his face drenched

"Pretentious shit" she spat. Getting up

He chuckled. A gust of wind flew through the window, blowing om his face gently. "Goodluck cousin"

He started to leave, the students sighed in relief, and he whipped around in that same moment. "Make sure they're up by four. Alright?"

Outside, the sweater sat around his waist His shirt unbuttoned at the top, the sun was raging, he was drenched in sweat as he walked down the sidewalk. He stopped under a tree, sat on the bench, taking slow, steady breaths. His thigh shivered as his phone vibrated with a message

He pulled it out. *Hey. What are you doing?*

*Heading home, you?*

*Nothing much. Just missing Yellow Olive Umami*

*You could've just said it directly you know?*

*I won't give you the satisfaction*

*Greedy*

*Kkk. Hey by the way. I'm now 5'7*

*That's cute. Still a little shadow I'm comparison*

*Some gentleman you are*

*Maybe I'd be more impressed actually seeing you instead of just text*

The person texting him, seeing the message patted her red cheeks, her white hair dangled over her shoulders, casting a shadow over her eyes. Her toes rubbed against each other. *Soon*

Her screen dimmed, and she collapsed into the soft covers. The door opened, a maid pushed a tray in. She set a cup of tea on the table, bowing before she left. "Here's your tea, Young miss"

"Thanks" she pulled one of the leggings off. Throwing it onto the bed, she reached out to grab a bottle of nail polish on the nightstand

"Mine' she muttered before she began humming a tune
