With her prior experience, Fami was far from clueless.
She did not just passively endure anymore. Her lips and tongue even pushed back at times, clumsy but eager.
Her face flushed deep red, her breathing uneven as she indulged in the lingering softness.
Alexei and Sofia stood frozen, completely dumbfounded.
What was going on?
Wasn't Cael supposed to be rescuing them?
Didn't he say Reze was his wife?
So how the hell did he end up making out with this strange girl in seconds?
As the kiss deepened, Fami's gaze flicked toward the two elders.
Their stunned expressions filled her with satisfaction.
Her sense of fulfillment rose sharply.
Kissing Cael right in front of Reze's foster parents, people who were essentially his in-laws...
It was far too entertaining.
Five minutes later, Fami finally pulled away on her own.
She looked satisfied.
Wiping the saliva from the corner of her lips, she spoke softly.
"Cael, I still need to eat."
Without hesitation, Cael reached into his stomach and pulled out a large stash of snacks he had stored earlier.
"Eat."
Fami's eyes lit up instantly as she began devouring them without restraint.
Sofia's expression turned complicated.
"Young man... what exactly was that just now?"
"Nothing serious. Just starting up a toy," Cael replied casually. "Relax, Mother-in-law. I love your daughter Reze."
As he spoke, he took out some disinfectant and began treating their wounds.
"Mhm..." Fami nodded rapidly while eating. "I am Cael's toy..."
Alexei gave a bitter smile.
"Seems like we old people can't keep up with your generation anymore."
"Yeah," Cael said plainly.
Silence settled over the room.
Only the sound of chewing remained.
Occasionally, Cael patted Fami's back to keep her from choking.
Three minutes later, she let out a satisfied burp.
Her head tilted slightly.
She was full.
"Done. We can go back now."
Cael checked his watch.
Nearly two hours had passed since he left.
"Good. Let's move."
He needed to get back, clean his in-laws up, and bring them to see Reze at dawn.
"Okay."
Fami extended her hand.
"Everyone, stack your hands."
Clap.
Cael placed his hand first.
Alexei and Sofia were about to follow when a weak cough came from outside.
Knock. Knock.
A thin middle-aged man stepped in, leaning on a cane. His white handkerchief was stained with blood.
"Alexei... cough... old friend... are you leaving?"
Cael frowned slightly.
"You trying to stop me?"
"Rudolf..." Alexei muttered.
He shook his head toward Cael.
"No need to be tense. This man is Rudolf Milinsky, Chairman of the KGB... and a useless puppet."
Rudolf laughed weakly, then broke into a violent coughing fit.
Even standing seemed difficult for him.
He slid down the damp wall and sat on the floor.
His spirit was frail, like a man already half buried.
"A puppet... I didn't expect to hear that from you, old friend..."
Sofia spat in disgust.
"From the moment you betrayed Felix's will and turned the KGB into a tool for power, we were done. You got sidelined by Yagoda and became a puppet. This is your own fault."
Rudolf fell silent for a moment.
"Yagoda... I saw his body downstairs. Died like a nobody. The future of the KGB..." He coughed again.
"Tch."
A tiny black sphere formed at Cael's fingertip as he pointed at Rudolf.
"Old man, I don't give a damn about your memories. One question. Fight or peace?"
Rudolf froze.
He knew exactly how dangerous these people were.
He slowly raised his hands.
"Peace... cough... young man, you're Japan's weapon, right? These two don't matter anymore, but you... why attack the KGB for them?"
Cael scoffed.
"For Japan? Are you stupid?"
"I'm helping my wife rescue her parents. Attacking the KGB just happened along the way."
Rudolf opened his mouth to speak again.
But suddenly, he couldn't.
Fami had already sealed his mouth shut with layers of tape.
She spoke coldly.
"If you're irrelevant, then shut up. If you want to die, do it quietly."
Then she immediately rushed back to Cael's side, clinging to his arm.
"Cael, did I do good?"
Cael rubbed her head lightly.
"Yeah. You're a sensible toy."
"Let's go."
Without wasting another second, Cael placed his hands on Alexei and Sofia.
Fami activated her ability.
Their figures faded away.
Before disappearing, Alexei glanced at Rudolf struggling on the floor.
He sighed softly.
"If you still feel guilt... face Felix's statue in Lubyanka Square and end it yourself."
Moments later, they appeared in Shinjuku, inside Makima's apartment.
There were plenty of empty rooms.
Cael picked one and quickly cleaned it using his abilities.
"Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, wash up and sleep. It's late. You can see Reze in the morning."
"Thank you, son-in-law."
Cael shut the door behind them.
He checked his watch.
Exactly two and a half hours.
Not bad.
Fami lingered beside him, gently taking his hand and pointing at the next room.
"Cael, let's go do it..."
Cael raised an eyebrow.
"Do what?"
She leaned close and whispered.
"Let's go sleep."
Cael let out a short, cold laugh and pushed her away.
"Don't get it twisted. You think I enjoyed kissing you?"
"You're just a toy. Know your place, dumbass."
Instead of getting angry, Fami looked even more excited.
She clung to him again.
"Come on, Cael, just play with me a bit~"
Cael shoved her off without hesitation.
"Not interested. Get lost."
He walked straight back to Asa's room.
She was still asleep.
Peaceful. Quiet.
Her expression was soft and completely defenseless.
Even alone, she hadn't kicked off the blanket.
Cael carefully removed the bolster from her arms and slipped into its place.
Perfect.
